Can I ask how you're doing with being pregnant and having an eating disorder? We're all pretty concerned with my SIL. She has only put on 3 lbs (she was around 100lbs when she got pregnant) and her blood pressure has been very low.
Psychologically it's been really difficult, so I feel for your SIL. Everything is going healthy wise for my baby and she's measuring and developing as normally as can be -- despite my eating habits occasionally still being a struggle. A few comments on how "big" I've gotten, despite plenty of compliments, made me borderline suicidal. I hope she's seeing a therapist!

I don't know how far along she is, but I know I got essentially a false positive on both GD tests (it being false confirmed with random blood draws by my midwife). The doctor said this is extremely common for people with EDs and who were very lean before pregnancy.

Everything is fine, but it REALLY triggered my anorexia, so I'd be mindful when she gets to that point (or even if she has and is hiding it out of shame).

My BP has been very low as well, and has even resulted in some brief scares from falls and dizziness :/

Even if you don't dramatically change your diet, just having a child is a huge change to your life and your biology. How you react to that change is often enough to tilt you towards the other gender. Timing doesn't sway.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Very true, and breastfeeding or getting pregnant right away also sway! Not getting enough sleep, not uncommon when you have babies or toddlers, also might sway.

NO ONE eats exactly the same between conceptions and additionally there are many other physical changes that take place with age that may sway.

Timing does not work and gender swaying is not 100%. Even with "ideal" sways we get opposites 20% of the time. Most people are not doing anything near what we do to sway. My mom had a mostly pink-friendly lifestyle but certainly didn't avoid meat or anything like that. Virtually everyone is doing and eating random meals and not some very strict diet day in and day out.

You are operating under the assumption that gender swaying is 100%. It isn't. The entire human race would have died out a long time ago because people used to eat much more similar diets than they do now and yet still boys and girls are conceived at about 50-50 rate.

People with pigeon pairs are simply lucky. They did NOT sway all out b@lls to the wall for a girl and then do a full on blue sway. They probably didn't give it any thought whatsoever. Maybe their diet was more pink or blue friendly, maybe it was just sort of halfway inbetween boy and girl, there are literally limitless variations on human diet that don't even resemble HE or LE type diets, like very caloric dense vegan diets making boys, and high protein atkins type diets making girls, and everything you can possibly think of.

TIMING DOES NOT SWAY. Period, end of story. I have 4 timing opposites!

There were many times in my life where I probably would have gotten a girl if I'd only TTC at that point. It just didn't happen that I did TTC then. For many people with PP they just get lucky and happen to TTC in a time where they're a little more pink or blue friendly.

I thought the sway success rate was much higher on here!

That is a typo. If I was only getting 20% success rate I would simply switch what I was having people do for boys and girls haha. Now corrected.
