Is there any truth to knowing the gender of baby by how early you get a BFP?
For example if you get a BFP @ 7 & 8dpo that ur having a girl versus 10,11 & 12 that it's a boy? This is a question out of pure curiosity And while there may be no truth to this I was just wondering If you ladies remembered how many DPO did you get a positive and the sex of the baby?
Both my boys I was 11-12dpo

No, sorry, you can't 100% accurate determine gender based on the time of bfp. Reason: the ranges of boy and girl pregnancies overlap. On average there may be a difference but there are a lot of non-averge pregnancies.
The curves in the fifth graph in the following link illustrate this nicely.
Totally different topic, just for illustration.
There will be a lot of pregnancies in the grey area

I have a friend who had three pregnancies and her first two (boys) she didn't get a positive pregnancy test until about a week after her period was due. She charts, so she knew when her surge was and about when she ovulated. And it just took a while to implant and her levels to rise. She tested earlier with both, but had negatives. With her third pregnancy, she got her positive two days before her period was due (maybe about 12DPO, although I don't know exactly). Obviously, it took her body less time to create those hormones. But he was equally as boy as the first two
FTR: I have tested positive between 8-10 DPO with all three children. Two boys, one girl. I also tested positive between 8-11DPO with all four of my losses. So I seem to be pretty par-for-the-course in regards to implanting and making HCG.A: "Owner" of the following brood:
-Our biggest surprise dude (L: 2009)
-Our rainbow little man (K: 2011)
-Our sway and pray little diva (J: 2013)
-Our lucky charm guy (S: 2015)
We may be done, we may come back for one more sway. Time will tell. At the moment, we are very content with our family!
