14 weeks is plenty. Please don't overdo it. What I hate to see is people thinking "well, if 12 weeks is good, 17 is better" and then dieting strictly for 17 weeks (to use your example there LOL) and then starting off having wasted away to nothing already, then starting off with a very strict sway that has no chance of conceiving. Then after 2 BFN, they either have stopped ovulation and/or are in such a panic to conceive that they immediately stop all sway tactics and start swaying blue just in order to get pregnant. This one mistake causes more sways to fail than anything else.

all foods are allowed on LE Diet. As long as you're in the limits.
However people who have PCO tendencies need to avoid or limit sugar and white refined carbs because they may cause your blood sugar to rise and in turn, testosterone. Others with good insulin response do not need to do this!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thank you atomic!
The main reason I've been worrie is because of my weight, I didn't want to sway to early to end up either getting extremely tired and cheating all too often or just completely stop all together.
As of now I have about 13 weeks to sway, unless my cycle changes in that time period.
Other then occasional cheat days I feel like I'm on a pretty good sway path!
For cheat days, would eating 5 small meals (staying within limits) do more damage to a sway then going over on limits?
Also, as far as hormone imbalances go (getting blood work done to confirm). I read up a little on it and it seems like it causes women to be estrogen dominant and not have enough progesterone. Has anyone ever dealt with something like this? Or does anyone have any knowledge about hormone imbalances?

and cheating is not only allowed but encouraged on LE Diet to prevent those feelings of burnout.
We honestly do not know if 5 meals would be better or worse than going over on limits. I have a gut instinct it's better by far to eat 5 days a week than to blow the limits but I don't know. Please do whatever option will make it easiest for you to stick with the diet overall.
Yes you may make less progesterone with PCOS - but the nice thing is that the whole diet/weight loss thing is meant to correct that over time so you really don't need to worry about "fixing" it.
I love potatoes when I'm losing weight - they are so satisfying and keep you full longer too!

Thank you atomic. I often find myself picking on the food I make for my husband and son for dinner ie: pizza and white bread and often feel like I'm ruining my whole diet (even though I'm within limits)
I'm definitely happy to say that I've been sticking with the limits and upping my calories at the same time thanks to potato and brown rice.

And on the days that happens, then just skip dinner. You always have the option of realizing that as it happens and then wrapping up dinner for the next day and having just something small like a yogurt or fruit. You can withstand the occasional white flour now and then, especially if you aren't eating a bunch of it and then having a full meal on top of it!

I'll definitely keep that in mind, usually when this happens it's like a bite of pizza. Not a full slice and I keep my dinner very minimal!
