update on my own sorry situation, BFN this morning of course. Went to the private GP at work, told him the situation, asked for provera or something to help me. He said that we should investigate any underlying issue, not just take a pill to bring on a period. So he referred me to a private hospital for an ultrasound and told me not to tell my insurer that i was trying to get PG, just that my periods havent returned. Well of course my insurer asked me in my own words, and I said my periods have stopped and they said this isnt an eligible reason blah blah blah am I trying for a baby as this is not eligible! this woman was so patronising, I found it all very upsetting that I was literally in tears at my desk for about 10 minutes. All I want is some damn provera I dont care about the stupid hospital ultrasound, I know there is nothing wrong! Anyway, I calmed myself down and called my own doctor so I have an appointment on thursday afternoon. I guess I wouldnt have started the provera until friday anyway (3 weeks after attempt so definitely not PG). Havent lost anything just feeling pretty down. I just hope my doctor doesnt insist on sending me for an NHS ultrasound or waiting it out or I will be waiting ages![]()

Stephk - so sorry to hear about your struggle! :-(
Are you in the UK or US? I understand we have totally different care systems in Sweden, but for me it is so odd to have to justify your need with the insurance company. In Sweden we do pay a lot of taxes, but most hospital care is free or cost very little. We have a maximum fee of around 130 dollars a year! If hospitalized, we pay 10 dollars a day! Getting doctors appointments aren't always easy, but it's never impossible if you really need help. So your struggle sound just terrible to me. Hop you get better luck on thursday!Gorgeous

Different countries' health care systems all have their advantages and disadvantages, so let's just leave it at that.

Stephk, I'm so sorry! I've often resorted to googling to find out what maladies the insurance company WILL pay for and lying about my circumstances/symptoms to get them to do their job and pick up the tab! Yeah, I hate the for-profit medical model, as well. BUT... I am swaying and trying to stay out of politics ATM... so I'll leave it at that!
Yeah, it would be hard to be suspected of having an eating disorder, but then again, I've been overweight since high school, and I'd love to be truly thin ONCE in my adult life. It just frustrates me that no matter how I diet and exercise, I struggle to even get to a "normal weight" BMI.
CD11 for me! OPK is slowly getting darker. I'm hoping for a +OPK on Sunday, but I'll take it whenever it comes. I just know DH is planning to drink a lot tonight, and I "gave him a hand" last night, so tonight would be hard to get him to finish. I'm SO glad we're not doing FR, as he has a really hard time with that, and CFR is something he would have yelled at me for having to do.
I am SO ready to have my attempt behind me. I miss sex! I have a big O every time we do it, so I've been abstaining. Haven't had an O all month, and I'm doing it this way because it's the polar opposite of how I got my boys. We were doing it all the time and twice on o day!
Hang in there ladies! My Gender Dream came true, my family is complete!

That sounds promising!!! This is my 2nd month on clomid, 50 mg (3-7). I got a pos opk on cd 15, so I think I am 5 dpo today. I also got a pos opk on cd 10 and 11 (you never know, we treated it as a real postive).
I too have been taking fiber and this month I was extremely bloated after o and still am and have been very very hungry. This is 5th month on LE and I have been ok with not eating tons, haven't really been too hungry, but I have been STARVING since this weekend. I am also feeling a little crampy today. Trying not to analyze everything since we have been TTC for over a year, I stopped paying attention to symptoms (everything started to feel like a symptom, lol).
I don't mind the vegetarian, I actually like it, I miss seafood the most. I miss eating food whenever I want and miss eating more protein and good fats like olive oil and avocado, and will totally crush like a dozen cookies whenever I get a bfp. I also am not loving my body, I am too skinny now and can't even afford to loose any more weight. Nothing fits me, I need some muscle!

Good luck Stephk, I hope you get to pop open that champagne on ice really soon. Such a pain. I too had to get a new bra, haha.

Here's my blog post:
I genuinely feel bad. Today is DH's birthday. I assumed, based on everything I had been looking at, my cycle, and how Fertility Friend predicted it, that I'd be getting a +OPK tomorrow or Sunday. Nope! I just took one that was just a hair lighter than control, which means if my morning one was ALMOST positive, my afternoon one is highly likely to be positive. My EWCM is also drying up, so I'm pretty sure it's tonight or not at all this month.
DH does not want another kid. He does not like have sex TTC (it wrecks the experience for him knowing what we're trying to do.) It bothers him if I don't have an orgasm. And I'm going make him TTC our daughter tonight, making sure NOT to have an orgasm, on his birthday. Sigh.
This is also happening after I forgot to say "Happy Birthday" to him this morning! I'm usually in a fog when I first wake up, and I don't remember special things until an hour or so later. I always forget our anniversary, Valentine's Day, even my own birthday, until I've had some coffee. Now I just feel terrible.
His best friend is also spending the night on our couch tonight, and we will be going out to dinner with them and having drinks. Now I'm concerned that he won't be able to perform if he drinks too much (on his own birthday!) and that we have to be super quiet doing it with guests in our living room! I REALLY wish I'd gotten that +OPK tomorrow.
I'm still going to go through with it. I just feel like a crappy wife.My Gender Dream came true, my family is complete!
