You should have just had the curry :P But what you settled on sounds yummy too.
I have to say I'm at the point in my 2ww where I'm cheating and cheating large. The way I see it, if I am preggo this month, baby is conceived (I just don't know it yet) and has already been assigned his/her eye colour, hair colour and gender....and if I'm not, one cheat this many weeks before my next O is not going to impact a dang thing!!! I have a hard time reigning myself in during these few days. I still skip breakfast and usually red meat (tonight might be the excpetion), but otherwise, I cheat. (this post is going to come back to haunt me when I find out I'm pregnant with my third boy, isn't it???).
Am I the only one who times significant cheats during this portion of the 2ww???

Oh, I'm with you, angie! I'm in cheatsville, too. It's so hard not to in the 2ww. I'm about 12dpo and trying to hold out a couple more days before I start testing. If I get a bfn on Mother's Day, man is that going to ruin my day. So, I'm going to enjoy it with my boys (cheaty, cheaty, cheat, cheat), then test on Mon.
I've been having long cycles lately, so even that might be too early, but we'll see.
And, Rosie, so thrilled for you!!!!! I hope we see a ton more bfps this month.

Hi Angie - I have been cheating every weekend, its the only way I could do it. If I'd had some 2WWs I would have highly likely cheated then too
I honestly think if we didn't cheat we would go mad so it has to be done.
And speaking of I tentatively think I might actually be in the 2WW!!! I just took an opk and it was a super faint negative line - I had lines getting darker and darker the whole time on holiday and couldn't test yesterday so I am wondering if yesterdays would have been my positive? What do you more experienced OPK users think? I will take another one tomorrow to be sure. Must try not to worry now about all the holiday eating over the past week but I am guessing my body needed that just to ovulate. If I had a positive yesterday then according to the test, you ovulate 24-48 hours following the positive so I must try to have a strict day today now. Hopefully the travel back hasnt delayed it so I think I should keep testing and keep BD just in case. We last BD on friday night so hopefully that is good timing?

I think you shouldn't even think of it as cheating. It's ALL about what you eat overall not what you have one day

Hi all, just popped on to see how everybody is doing. You've all cheered me up so thanks. I'm pretty much out this month now. Did a hpt and bfn as expected. Bloody spotting way before AF. Really wondering what my body is doing. My opks have been showing a line, no positive but they normally show nothing until nearer to O. Weird. Still finding this v difficult. Tried explaining to dh that it's like taking an exam every month and opening the envelope to find you've failed again. Anyway, don't mean to bring a downer on things. I will move on to next month but I have to say, I don't think I can do this waiting and only having one attempt for much longer.
Steph- great news you're in 2ww. I'll cross my fingers for you.
As for eating, I made tons of cakes this weekend and have been enjoying our new bread maker! I find being at work easier to stick to the diet. Just need to not pig out when I get home before we have dinner! Not that easy when the rest if your household is having after work/school snacks!!!
Whoops, think I've been such a moaner. Sorry, not intentional. Really grateful I have here to come to and know I'm not alone.
Xxx

loobylue - what dpo are you at? Sorry you didn't get that positive.
I am also out. This cycle was such a roller coaster. I hear you Loobylue - you are so spot on comparing it with the exam!
I feel so bummed right now and I don't think my dh really understands how stressful every cycle is.
This time I had faint lines on a few sticks and today a quite strange result on the Clearblue plus, first nothing but then suddenly after 20 minutes a pretty clear line that is still there, fully visible and blue. But it is obviously not a real positive since AF just seems to have arrived. Googled clearblue and I am not the only one with false +. Even if I didn't trust those faint lines fully I did get my hopes up, so today was a tough day.
I am also thinking about what to drop - maybe FR? I didn't take antihistamines this time and will skip it next month too. Also skipped and pretty much only did diet, one attempt, j&d (will skip I think), drinking wine (will not skip, are gonna have a glass right away!), OLE for DH, folic.
Not much more to skip than J&D and FR release right? Really wanna get pg now!
Steph - Sounds very likely that you did o!! Yay!! Finally in the 2ww! Fx for you! Hope you had a fantastic trip, that relaxation is just so great for your sway!Gorgeous

Oh, I so hear you on the failed exams! One reason I'm not testing early this month... not sure I can handle the failing again. If it's a bfn for me this month, I might take a few months off. It's so stressful trying to lower fertility without lowering *too* much...which is just the opposite of how we want to be feeling when TTC a girl, right? What a catch 22...
