That's why posts liek this make my hair go gray because it makes people worry and question their sway. I PROMISE i got 3 of my 4 boys 2-3 days or even more before O (that DS 1 was as stubborn as a sperm as he has been for the last 21 years LOl) and then Suzy was late at night the day before I Oed (pos. OPK.)

I SERIOUSLY doubt she's a nutritionist because she would have learned in school that the pH theory of diet and cancer is complete baloney.

As part of a class I was in last year they had a nutritionist come in to speak to us, and all she went on about was the pH theory of diet and cancer! I had never heard of it before, but it sounded a little hokey to me, so I looked into it afterwards and the most reliable info I could find said what you're saying, that your body keeps pH balanced and diet can't affect it... so sadly, she could well be a nutritionist and just spreading misinformation like that guest speaker in my class!

So just for clarification purposes (I know, call me stupid) what might a cut off do? and how MIGHT it sway girl?? is it b/c sperm count is lowered, by waiting around for the egg, most will die off, before they meet the egg? is it really true that girl sperm is slower and lives longer? ugh, I don't know why it's so hard for me to let go of the timing factor

wishing on a princess.....i have boy boy girl boy girl. i got my first 3, 1st girl included ( i didnt know about swaying) with BD'ing once i got a +opk only 3 days in a row. got my next child another boy with preseed im sure, and i did the opk thing. my swayed girl i swayed HARD. what we did different is we did FR 16 days in a row.....maybe missed a day or 2. The day I got a + opk we did it that day and stopped. so i had maybe a 1 day cutoff so i dont really believe in timing. although i have never tried for cut offs

Just to add...I know for sure I conceived DS2 4 days before O because there was a BD famine that month and we literally only did it the once . I was sure I would get my DD having read up on Shettles. But no, another lovely DS. Did, however, do fish oils, pre natals, super healthy diet and exercise 3-4 days per week with both and had gained a small amount of weight before conceiving both. So I totally prove your theory AS...no chance of a girl either time!!
