    Yes, what I am saying is if you HATE the diet and it is killing you and you just know you're going to cheat and/or give up, then WHY stick to things that are not proven to sway. Timing, douching, these things don't have anywhere near the huge body of consistent evidence supporting them that diet does and they are keeping people from getting pregnant...I'm jsut saying it makes a heck of a lot more sense to me to hit it hard on the diet and only have to stick with it for a few weeks, rather than preventing yourself from getting pg for 4 months because of timing/pH, in the meantime possibly cheating a lot or even giving up on diet all together.

    This is more true for the girl dieters because the girl diet is pure hell, but then again I know there are a lot of people who think the boy diet is also pure hell!!

    I will try to put together a diet plan just for the High-Everything style of diet but NBP has already posted the French Gender Diet in the paid members only section (we had to do it that way because of copyright) so if you need menus, portions, measurements, etc, you can find them there.

    Hobber, Atkins made me super sick with heart palps, and I had to go off it after only 3 days!

    PS - try a potassium supp, it helps.

    thanks! I will try it. I am having trouble with the eliminating carbs...I didn't realize until now exactly HOW MUCH (how many?) Carbs I ate.

    Oh I KNOW. Even stuff like ketchup and BBQ sauce is forbidden...nothing like trying to chaw down a dry-ass chicken breast slathered with Dijon mustard (shudder). Honestly I was kinda glad when I got sick because it was a handy excuse to quit.

    HA ha!! YES!! Right now I am eating salami smeared with cream cheese with a pickle rolled up inside. I already sick of everything. BUT! I have already lost 3 lbs!!

    Atomic, so anything that lowers sperm count sways pink, I told my husband he must stop smoking, he's not a big smoker, but I dont care how many he smokes its still smoking, he said he's not ready to quit, so I was wondering if we ttc in August & if he were to stop smoking atleast 2-3weeks before, would that help his sperm at all? Or would he have to stop smoking months in advance?

    ME!!! I have gained 28lbs since started swaying last July. I am currently taking a break and trying to lose 10lbs during the next month, but then I may go back on it just a bit, like Flava said, eating just little bits. It's the sodium and the carbs (potatoes) I was eating. But hey, iyam, looks like it paid off for you!
    (2002) (2005) from 1st marriage. TTC since Aug 2010- Dx: low sperm count and 1% normal sperm. We are giving up and moving on with a baby-free life.
    UPDATE: surprise bfp in Feb 2013! It's a BOY!
