Oops, my apologies! I thought you were just swaying twins not gender specific! Best of luck

I had read somewhere that boy sway diets can lead to twins cuz of the high nutrients. I will look into it though! Good luck to you. Prayers for sticky beans [emoji4]

I would def. proceed with an all around healthy prepregnancy diet like HE Diet and then you're going to be in the best boat for both. High dairy, more folic acid/folate, and a good prenatal with extra Vit. D up to 1000 IU total http://genderdreaming.com/forum/tryi...l-version.html
    Thank you!

I don't think there is a reliable way to sway for twins, unless you move to that one village in Africa or are willing to take fertility drugs. I am not convinced Cassava sways and I don't trust the sellers of Cassava supplements,I'm doubtful it's the right plant.

Good luck to you anyway! I would give you my hyper O gene if I could, I don't want twins and more than half of them don't make it in my family, including the twins I conceived.
So sorry about your lost twins the more I'm learning about twins the more losses I hear about.

You are right! I was just wanting to sway for twins (and still hope to)....but if I am going to follow a diet to do so, I wouldn't want to be more likely to have a girl because I have girls already. I want to increase odds of having twins but not decrease odds of having boy [emoji14]

I do entertain the possibility that it isn't diet but it just keeps on going and going. I wonder if it may be the higher carb intake. Just don't know enough, unfortunately.

about the cassava too. They have proven in studies that many herb sellers are putting a lot of junk into things that they say are something different.

It's more that I think that IF it's the yam they're eating in that village that is even causing the twinning (which we do not know), there are tons of different varieties likely including ones that aren't grown commercially. It seems unlikely to me that the Cassava sold as a supplement is the right type. Even if it is, it may need to be grown in the same environment to affect twinning, and that is definitely not the case. It may also need to be prepared a certain way to have effects. There's just so many variables to match up.

    Kingdom, thank you.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period
