Hi ladies.I hope everyone's doing ok - you're all in the home stretch. I'm sorry for everyone who's feeling down or anxious. The last part of pregnancy's hard enough without having extra stuff to worry about.

Sadie was a week old yesterday, and I'm already getting teary when I think about how fast she's going to grow up. To celebrate her first week I brought her to a baby photographer and got some newborn shots as well as some shots of her with me. On the weekend we'll go back with the boys and get some family shots for the Christmas card.

She's well above her birthweight now and is a thriving, happy, healthy little girl. This morning her cord stump finally fell off - it's always a relief when that happens because it's so ugly and stinky after some time has passed. She's still sleeping like a dream - I nurse her before I go to bed around 11, she wakes up to nurse at about 3, then sleeps until 6:30 or 7:00 when I have to get up with the boys to get them ready for school anyway. She's also pretty easy-going about trips out of the house. Today I brought her and ds3 to the very busy farmer's market, and she slept through the whole thing. She also walks to school with me every afternoon to pick up her big brothers.

So far life with 4 kids is good, despite the increase in naughty behaviour and temper tantrums from ds3

I get teary too and actually made a status about this on my FB and got a few smart remarks telling me I should be greatful and have nothing to be sad about! GRRR

I went in for my last doctor appointment today! It seems so weird to say that.... my last OB visit EVER. It kind of makes me sad. If all goes well, I will be induced Monday. Hoping the baby stays put until then.

During my visit last week, my Dr referred to the baby as "he"; this week he referred to the baby as "she". I know he doesn't know the gender, because he showed me the u/s report and it says right on it "gender unknown", so I am sure he is just using whatever pronoun comes to his mind first. But it was great to hear the baby referred to as "he", but not as "she"! I can't believe in 5 days, I will know for sure.... I know many of you have ideas that this is a boy, but I just can't believe it. I just KNOW it is a girl. 5 days until dooms day for me.

I can't wait to hear about your little one when he/she is born x x

Thanks TTC5! I think I will always be the same too as in if I have anymore they will most prob be early too. I have accepted the 9th of october and there is just nothing I can do about any of this .. Really who knows what could happen to him if he stayed in me any longer and my ob has made this decission so it must be for the best..Right?? I went for a CTG this morning and he is still happy enough so I am glad.

Can anyone tell me with dating scans are the accurate? I am just trying to work out ds1 due date because I was not really tracking my period with him so I was not 100 percent sure when I had my period and when I did do a Preg test it didnt show up until like ( what I thought was 17 dpo ) Anyway I went for a dating scan at what I thought was 9 weeks but the scan said I was 7 weeks 1 day... Then when I went for my 12 week scan which was what I was meant to be going by 7 week 1 day scan I was measuring 13 weeks and 4 days so thats a week and 4 days bigger?? anyway I ended up taking my dates from that scan instead of the early one and I can just remember the midwife saying to me he was acting more like a 36 weeker then a 37 week and 2 day baby. He did have jaundice but I had alot of trouble breast feeding him and he was so sleepy... So do you think maybe he was 36 weeks?? or there abouts... The midwife was 70 years old and had been a midwife for like 40 years!

Auroara, your kids are so adorable! Love the pictures. DS1 looks like such a great big brother. Thanks for the kind words; I really REALLY hope you are right about how things go for me.... not holding my breath, though.

Pinkin, I can't help you with the dating scan stuff. But I know you are worried, and I think if your Dr said that the baby is safer out than in, she knows what she is talking about. Too bad you can't wait a few extra days and have him on 10/11/12! I was hoping ONE of us would get a baby with that cool birthday!

Mocha, Sadie sounds super easy. Enjoy her!

Hobb I really think you are having a boy !! I have felt that the whole time, I understand you would be nervous and what ever anyone says does not help but I think you will get a nice shock on monday!

Are you nervous about being induced ?? You know you will be in labour on monday?? I am nervous about my induction!

I am not nervous about the induction. I have had it done last time, and kind of with DS, too--my water broke with him, and after 12 hours I had no contractions, so they gave me pitocin. It isn't bad. The worst part is that the contractions are stronger than natural ones, so for me, an epidural is essential! I just hope the baby stays put until Monday. I am kind of uncomfortable tonight. Crampy and having braxton hicks. Stay in, baby!

I get super high BP at the end of my preg, so they go to induce me and my body decides to go into natural labor the night before! LOL Can't wait Hobber, been pulling for you for months hon! Good luck though, I hope your baby stays IN!

ha yeah epidural all the way I say!! I was induced with my first too and it was HORRIBLE!!! I just hope these epidurals really work or this will most def be my last baby and I know that sounds weak of me and ladies have babies everyday but childbirth really does scare me and I mean I am terrified
