I don't think the HSG is always super painful, I think different women have different experiences, with some finding it super painful, and some finding it merely uncomfortable. DH can buck up, because if you have go through having doctors put tubes up your uterus, he can masturbate in a cup!

    Best luck!
Hahaha!!! I love your reaction to my hubs SA!! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] I agree 110% with you!!

And Thanks! That's what the nurse told me about it. Some people it's easy peasy some, it's like the most horrible pain they can think of.... I've had 2 babies-- so my idea is going in there thinking it's going to be the worst, but it not actually being so bad.

Hoping either one is the case! When I called the nurses like back to ask about the blood pregnancy test, she told me the same thing.... that from yesterday on-- to abstain for 10 days, if I still have not gotten a period, to call in on that tenth day and ask for a pregnancy blood test and also progesterone levels to be checked. Once they get the results from those 2 tests, assuming they are negative results, then she would prescribe me the provera. While on provera, abstain for the 10 days you take it and that should induce a period. Once I get my period, I should also abstain why they do all the bloodwork and ultrasounds.

At that point we'd be talking about nearly a month without sex!!! Lol if we wear a condom, is that ok? All those measures are just a precaution so I don't end up getting pregnant while having medicines and procedures that aren't save for fetus'.

We abstained for 3 days total on my appt day bc I wasn't sure if they were going to send my hubby for a SA that day. He has to get one but has to schedule an appt.

So going by the theory that I'm actually on CD37/5dpo and not CD37/9pdo when would I request a blood test for the 5dpo theory? Just being clear hahah! thanks atomic!

I think you probably did O after the big temp dip, but it's still possible given the earlier high temps and I just want to err on the side of caution since I have seen (unfortunately) some docs prescribing Provera really irresponsibly without giving any of those instructions - and several times where the woman DID end up getting a positive pregnancy test later on!! We don't want that to happen so I like you guys to take every precaution.

Yes sex with barrier birth control is fine during that time. Absolutely. You just don't want to possibly conceive with a later ovulation and then take a pregnancy test before it can register, and then start the Provera and stop it (since taking Provera and stopping it can trigger your uterine lining to come off!!)
