Hmm, I wonder if the LE could be making us both measure small? I have probably had low blood sugar more than is good for the pg, since I haven't really been hungry much. No morning sickness, just no desire to go find food unless it's sitting in front of me. I'm sure your bubs will catch up to her siblings eventually, though!
Yep, that was the one piece of info I actually managed to ask at my scan LOL! It depends on the machinery but most modern ones are that good. Also the exact position has an effect.

Very interesting that you should mention LE diet re size - I had a conversation about this with a journalist friend of mine the other day about diet DURING pregnancy. She is researching the elevated levels of SGA (low birth weight) in Spain in the last few years (much higher than in other areas of Europe and higher than say 10 years ago) and a possible link with maternal diet and smoking. I think she said that the difference only happens later on in pregnancy but i will be interested in what she finds out anyway.

Doctors here are very strict on weight gain during pregnancy and EVERYONE I know has been told to cut back on food at some point in their pregnancies. With DS2 my plump doctor mentioned my weight gain and i felt like saying "but in 3 months MY stomach will be gone ......." Doctors also seem to tolerate a few cigarettes a week. She hasn't found any hard facts yet about diet but it seems weird that Spain's numbers have increased so much.

BUnnywabbit July here you come! So much easier to stick to the LE diet in the summer anyway just think of all those salads and low testosterone from being outside in the sun.

Niva, my DS1 was measuring 6 days behind. By the next scan he was only 2 days behind which is where he stayed from then on. I hope everything works out ok for your little babe. Don't lose hope just yet.

bunnywabbit, hoping you get your BFP soon. July is a fantastic month to get a BFP. Two of my friends have little girls conceived in June/July.

Emily, I'm not sure how you held your tounge at the overweight doctor mentioning your pregnancy weight. So rude!! You were pregnant... You should have asked her when she was due?! Lol or was it a guy.

AFM I've had eleven weeks of no MS and then this week I have been feeling really nauseous. I thought at about this stage symptoms were ment to get better not worse!

Bunnywabbit, sorry for your BFP, but like Emily said hopefully LE will be easier to stick to in a sunnier month!

Niva, keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Gecon, I am definitely finding out gender, no team green/ yellow here!

TTCpink, hope the next 2 weeks fly by for you!

Ladybugs and 3boys, that's so good to hear that at least two of you had the same 6 day lag and you both went on to have good pregnancies! That makes me a lot more hopeful that something isn't necessarily wrong. Although of course I'm on pins and needles until I know more.

GeCon, if this one continues, I will be team green/yellow.
DS is nearly 3 yo. Swayed for a , but we are absolutely delighted to be welcoming a , sweet little brother for DS.
Jan: started LE diet. Feb & March: BFNs. Chemical in April.
May: Appendicitis at 9dpo; hospital blood test was BFN.
Absolutely shocked by a BFP after I got home from the appendectomy. Luckily, the pregnancy was not affected in any way by this early experience. He's a healthy, robust little one!

I kinda expected it, tbh. Didn't really have symptoms per se last time, but I at least had a twinge or two in my underarm area which made me wonder. Nothing at all this time. Am 12dpo today so the early tests should have picked it up by now. Picked up my last one a little earlier than that. Would be nice, but really not holding my breath. Funnily enough, I'm ok with it. At least it isn't another m/c.

Hmm... this time I might use a little Rephresh again. I couldn't last time because I miscarried and didn't really want to chance complicating things. Have already upped my dose of folic acid and taking other stuff because of the m/c so will see how that goes. I have done my best with the diet, but my logging of foods had lapsed just a little. Need to pay alittle more attention to it this time.

I am thinking I had a fakeout ovulation. Huge temp dip today and now EWCM. This happened one other time when I was charting. Hopefully the real deal is coming. Frustrating!
I have two amazing boys, ages 6 and 8. I finally got my BFP on the first month of Clomid after TTC well over a year with my girl sway. Baby Boy #3 is due July 13, 2014!

Lots of ups and downs in here today! Thinking of you ladies. Niva I will be thinking positive thoughts and hope to hear good news for you and your little one soon. Sorry to hear about the BFN, Bunny.

Thank you all. I got my first hcg back today and the bean hasn't noticeably slowed down growth over the last week -- hcg has doubled more than four times in the past seven days. That is very, very good news. The second draw tomorrow will hopefully show another doubling or better, and then I can stop worrying!!

I've always been REALLY bad at keeping myself hydrated. I know this is a total no-no but I just don't feel much thirst, so I forget to drink water. I'm wondering if my gestational sac was small because of that... It's basically fluid in there, right? So I'm trying really hard to stay hydrated now, and I gotta say, it's kind of a pain to have to go pee so often!

I did find out during my scan yesterday that I ovulated from the right this pg. I guess my version of the LE diet didn't cause enough decline in condition to kick the left ovary into action. But like I've told you others who worry about O side, it can still go either way for the gender even after having o'd from the right, so I'm trying not to take it too much into account. Still, I'm sure I'm not the only one right now keeping a tally of all the "blue" signs and convinced that they could have canceled out the swaying, haha!

Hi Ladies, things certainly move quickly in these threads!

Welcome Daisy! Congrats on your BFP and hope you have a H&H 9 months.

Niva, it's always worrying when things aren't quite as you're expecting but I really hope that your LO is just taking it's sweet time and growing away at it's own pace.

TTCpink, it's s good job that you're keeping on top of your ov and haven't been fooled by the fakeout one! I got caught out exactly like that in December and was devasted. At least you still have a great chance of catching the egg this month. Keeping my fingers crossed that this is your month.

Sorry you had a bfn Bunnywabbit, I really hope that next month's the one for you.

Gecon, Cagirl, Emily, Ladybugs, Charlee & Meeks how are you all doing?!! Hope the first trimester is ticking nicely along for you all, can't believe how fast the weeks are going by now.

    I hope I haven't forgotten anyone. Who's next for a scan?

I have my consultant appointment next Tuesday, when I shall present my case for a vba2c. I DO NOT want another c-section unless absolutely necessary. I started on my pregnancy yoga tonight and really enjoyed it! I can't believe that I've never done yoga before, it's wonderful. Baby's been kicking away since, so it must've liked it too. I had a very strange dream last night that I had a 20 week scan and had loads of pics where I immediately said it's a boy isn't it as it had it's hands over it's genitals, football style! I couldn't see any bits at all and the tech wouldn't tell me one way or the other either. I think I just spent too long yesterday googling boy & girl nubs! I know that there's no obvious boy nub on my scan, (it looks quite girly with a flat nub) but I'm not getting too hopeful as it's only one picture and it's never 100% either!

I just feel a bit detached from it all still and the stress of trying to sell our house is getting to me a lot at the moment. I feel really bad as a lot of my friends now have totally different lives to ours now and we've drifted apart. This is the huge disadvantage of home-educating (for now!) as we live a good half hour's drive from either group so we don't get to meet up as regularly as we'd like. When we move we'll be very close to one group, dh's work & my parents too. I really can't wait, but just feel like I'm letting our kids down at the moment. We used to have a great social life here when they were really little, but then my friends' kids started nursery & school and we've drifted apart which really hurts. One lady, with whom I used to be very close has made it clear that we're only suitable for meeting up with in the holidays and as a result we haven't seen her & her kids now since February despite living in the same town. She doesn't even know that I'm pg yet!! It really does hurt and I've been feeling so down about it all, especially as ds1's best friend (also home-ed) lives 50 mins away from us until we move a lot closer. I know that it's all for the best in the long run as we'll have a fab social life again, but at the moment it's tough. It's not easy either as it's not really the done thing in our town and most people treat us as a strange, exotic family! Sorry for the vent ladies, I just needed to get it off my chest. Swimming against the tide, so to speak, is difficult at the best of times and I don't expect everyone to agree with how we've chosen to educate our children, but at the moment it's particularly challenging!!
