I feel the same way!! I NEVER have good luck either, which is why I had Harmony testing. So many people think "something bad will never happen to me" well my luck is such that I live like "if something bad is going to happen to someone, it's going to be me!". I too am hoping for once luck will be on my side, especially after talking with my DH last night. I asked him if he will be sad if this is another boy and he said "a little".
My in laws basically said that if this isn't a girl then it was pointless for us to have another baby. My sister gets more upset than I do that I don't have a girl, she thinks you have to have equal # of girls and boys for life to be right, sheesh. Its all too much pressure. The thing I most dread are the comments from others.
We need a bubble Quinn!!Then it would all be fine and we could raise our children without the pressure of expectations from others or what they think we need. Hang in there momma, it will all work out and no matter what happens we have been so blessed already. Thinking of you and all you other sweet mommas on here as we wait for our results.

I've had my share of comments. I shut them down by saying I believe it's a boy and say it with a smile. *Most* take that as I'd be perfectly happy with a boy (which I would be) and they shut up. I've had a couple keep going with things like "Well, if it's a boy are you going to try again for a girl?" (which annoys the fire out of me because it is like they are saying if this is a boy then he'd be a mistake, or unwanted and that we'd need to try again to "get it right") , but mostly it shuts them up.
I'm sorry you all are having such a hard time. ((HUGS))Our family is complete

The comments are the worst! It's one reason dh and I didn't tell our family until after we knew the gender. I had such a rough time with GD last go round with my 3rd boy, and the comments form everyone around me really made it worse. I didn't think I could take well-meaning family speculating or asking what we wanted. Hugs to everyone who's going through that now! My fingers are crossed hard that we all get lovely healthy kids, no matter the gender, and family leaves us the heck alone!

I read that the forking doesn't mean anything. Both boys and girls can have the forking. I read that in gender experts but who knows.
Also, I had an anterior boy with my son. I didn't feel kicking until about 20 weeks :/ and he ended up being breech.

It's the comments I hate too. I had someone go so far as to say I tried to kill DS3 because I wanted a girl, that that was the reason he came at 30 weeks. They didn't say it to my face, but said it in a message to a mutual friend. Seriously, WTF is wrong with people?! It's not so much having GD, but the assumption from others that you don't want or love your kid because it wasn't your gender preference. People are acting like I should be all upset that the twins aren't both girls, even though I've always talked about wanting boy/girl twins. We are thrilled we're getting them. We had a slight preference for two girls just so we'd have an equal number of each, but it doesn't really matter. DD gets a sister and we are getting the twins I've always wanted. One of my friends was great about it though, since she had GD and had 5 girls before getting her boy. She asked if I was okay since I'd mentioned a slight preference this time for girl/girl. I actually hadn't even thought about being disappointed or not until she asked. When I did think about it, the only thing I had even a hint of possible disappointment over was not having matching outfits, which is silly, and then I realized I could coordinate their outfits and it would be just as fun. The only thing I am sad about is this being our last pregnancy. DH is planning to get snipped after they're born.

I think I might be losing my mind lol, or imagining things... I am just over 13 weeks (or if you go by my dr's EDD which is based off my LMP then I'd be a couple days shy of 14 weeks... not a huge difference) and I swear that I am feeling tiny little thumps. They are rare.. maybe 1-2 times a day at most, and they are weak so if I were up and about I'd probably not notice them but I feel them if I am relaxing watching TV or something. I'm not really having gas issues and it doesn't feel like gas. It feels like the tiniest little tap from the inside, and then it's over and I don't feel it again for a long, long while. Surely it's too early right??? I've always felt baby earlier than expected but 13-14 weeks? That seems REALLY early to be feeling anything. Like I said, I think I am losing my marbles lol.
