Where to start?
I should say that I’m an IG migrator. Not that my sway was bad (I got my boy!), but I wasn’t really following the IG diet…it was Atomic’s blog on Trivers Willard that got me thinking that I would let my instincts guide me. Strangely, I started dropping weight at first, but when I added back in the dairy everything became more balanced. It seems like I’ve naturally been following the HE diet my whole life, that is, except for the 3 months prior to having DD1! So the boy diet was pretty easy for me. I didn’t do COT, BSF…I think Atomic said it best…try not to mess with your environment. So just diet, and some supplements (RJ/BP, TT, Fish Oil, EPO) and my timing ended up not being a factor at all, since I never even pin-pointed O that month, it happened before I even started temping (unusually early for me). Personally I think the RJ/BP was the magic for me.
Needless to say…I’m a big fan Atomic! So when we decided we would try for #3, I went back to IG to find her (I had my son June 2010 and didn’t return to IG until just a couple of months ago). Not only was she MIA…but where were Michaela, nuthinbutpink, Classic Movie Queen, Charlie Cats? Thinking back, things were getting a little frustrating before I left…the web-site was always “broken”, there were some strange battles going on, and I don’t think Atomic was getting the appreciation she deserved. I’m so grateful I found this site!
Anyhoo, we haven’t decided if we will sway boy or girl, or even sway at all for that matter. I just wanted to pop in and see what’s NEW. I'm trying to get caught up...but I'm already glad I switched!
