Stop bfing and hitting the first egg...

I was thinking about trying to catch my first egg post breastfeeding. My son will be 1 next month and planned on weaning him. If AF shows around Aug I was thinking of trying to catch the egg train. Does anyone know if this is a bad idea...I'm worried about my lp. I would start the diet asap and get a personal plan, as long as if it ok to bf while doing so. Any input is incredibly appreciated!!! Btw no af since he's been born, so haven't had a "real" af for almost 2 years.

I caught the first egg while breastfeeding ds3. He was 11 months old. I was taking vitex and cranberry supp plus cal mag supp while breastfeeding him...everything I read said it was ok. He totally weaned when I was 12 weeks pregnant.

I haven't had af yet. Did you get it while bfing? I haven't had any bleeding since he was about 5 weeks old and that was pp bleeding. I have 4 kids and I only got af back while bf my 1st. My guy shows no sign of wanting to stop but idk what to do. I keep hearing about vitex, but I'm a wimp. Some women seem to respond to it wonderfully and some don't. I'm worried I'll be the one that doesn't.

No I hadn't had any sign of AF. Vitex worked for me. I had only been on it for a month when I o'd then I stopped taking it.

I got pg with DS 4 by catching the first egg after several months (I had one very early and light PP cycle and then nothing for several months, without ever having another period.)

I did LE Diet twice while BF, once with TTC DS 4 and then again with TTC DD, so if you're interested I do have some experience with it.

Both times I was taking vitex.
