One tech said boy other one said girl.....one of those said its too soon to see it with a potty shot right now. So very confusing but It looks boyish to me but the skull looks very girly (see post yesterday).

That last ultrasound looked to be very poor quality. This is really clear. I know it's not what you were hoping for but I think that is a definite boy. That is a penis and a textbook boy nub.

The whole ivf/pgd cycle was so hard. Even with 4 embies we just got pregnant with one. So we are very happy we can give our son a sibling (and in this case a brother). We put our selfish desire of a girl aside just to give our son a sibling and that's the reason we put back 4 embies. 2xx and 2xy. We hoped for a girl would stick but unfortunately it is a boy and we knew it could happen and that was okay for us. It is "just" our second child so we know we have more chances. We hoped that we wouldn't be in the position to choose for a third baby just because of gender.....I wish I had slightly more luck in my life because it's seems to me like I always don't have luck in the things I really want. But this boy is very welcome and we will love him as much as our other son. Dr Phill said ones: some decesions are right. sometimes you have to make a decision right. You have to say: "This is the decision I have made. I'm going to grow we're my seeds are planted and I'm going to make something out of that." (it was said in English I translated it in Dutch and again to English so I hope it makes sense hihihihi).

That's awesome, lisvna. I admire what you did and it speaks volumes about your character. I think brothers are awesome and you have a perfect family in the making.

I couldn't even tell my son was a boy at 36 weeks so I am no help at all with ultrasounds, but congrats on having another boy since it seems like the experts on here are pretty confident--they will be best friends--how special!!!!
(born March, 2012)--IVF at RMANY (no GS for first one since no real preference-said we'd do it for second one)--23 eggs--12 fertilized with ICSI--1 frozen
March/April 2013--SIRM NY--23 eggs, 15 embryos, 2 girls transferred, 1 girl and 1 unknown (only 4 celled at day 3 so no biopsy) frozen. BFP on HPT at 6dp5dt, Beta at 8dp5dt=70, Beta at 10dp5dt=216, 1 hb at 6 weeks, ob appt at 7w2d--wow it's twins!!!
CVS--2 HEALTHY GIRLS! Our twin girls were born 6 weeks early, but doing fabulously and we are so in love!! Our family is complete!!!
