Sorry this is so long
So we will be TTC in September. I just wanted you girls to take a look at my diet and see what you think...
Breakfast: two eggs and turkey bacon w/ a V8 fusion
OR oatmeal with peanut butter w/ V8 fusion
OR recently i've been having honey nut cheerios w/ whole milk because I love cereal and was starting to miss it (not sure if its ok, so i don't do it too often)
Snack a banana and lemon water
Lunch: A turkey sandwhich on wheat bread w/ chips
OR tuna sandwhich on wheatw/ veggies
OR hot dog/corn dog....all of these with lemon water or v8
Snack: banana, nuts, chips and salsa, or some veggies from a pre made vegetable tray...it has cherry tomatos, celery, broccoli, snow peas, and carrots
Dinner: spaghetti w/ meat sauce, chili, roast w/ potatoes, tacos, bbq chicken, sloppy joes
Supps: Me- centrum prenatal, folic acid, vit E, and fish oil
DH- multivit, coq10, fish oil, folic acid, and vit E
Last question: My DH just found out that his T levels are on the low side. Doctor wants him to work out more and take testosterone supp. I know that it can lower sperm count so I don't want him to take it. Will his low T affect our sway?

Also wanted to add....I will start doing the jillian michaels 30 day shred to build muscle and DH will lift weights (hopefully). On the actual attempt I will be taking robitussin, using preseed, and DH will release about every 3 days from AF to O...DH is 38 so I hope that is often enough but also not too much. We will DTD at first pos OPK and then again the day after. I might drink ACV if I can find it.
Am I missing anything or doing anything wrong?Last edited by Blue chance2013; July 30th, 2012 at 09:47 PM.

Hi Blue chance,
Your diet looks good although I think you should be trying to get some protein into your snacks too.
I don't know much about the testosterone supplementation but atomic has great info on foods that boost T so maybe try to get your DH to eat more of these foods too.

I think it looks good, but I agree that you should add some protein to your snacks like almonds or nuts. Just remember to do a protein and carb with every meal and snack. I did the COT drink instead of the ACV but I am not sure that these things really help or not. I know Atomic answered the testosterone supp question somewhere else but I can't remember where. I think that they affect sperm count if you take them for a long period of time, I don't think short term hurts it. And there is a thread that shows what foods help raise T levels. I also used preseed and took mucinex and they really helped me. good luck

Your diet looks pretty good but I want you to eat some protein WITH your fruit and veg snacks to make sure your blood sugar stays up for awhile after eating them. A banana alone will just make your blood sugar shoot up and then plummet right afterwards.
If his levels are low to begin with, then the T supplement will not lower his sperm count. T supplements only affect sperm count in those men who are trying to raise their T levels unnaturally high (and it usually takes a few months for that to happen anyway.) The T supplementation may actually help.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I love the 30 day shred-that's what i do 5 days/week. I go through all of the levels, a different one each day. I think it's good because then you work on different muscles
