So i started with my sway today..well part of it still waiting for the supps to arrive.
So i tried plain V8 and just couldn't deal with it, so I tried a vege/fruit combo and combined it with brewers yeast, it was one of the nastiest things ive ever tried and managed to keep it down.
I don't think i can do another mouthful, however on the bak of the packet was a recipe and i just gave it a try.
Basically I made Hashbrowns substituting flour with the brewers yeast, i also added paprika which is also high in potassium, salk and pepper and an egg along with 4 potatoes.
The result was great - so breakfast tommorow will be 1 hash brown with a homemade tomato salsa and avacado.
Does anyone else have any ideas how to use the brewers yeast and hide the taste.

It is rank, no doubt about it. Great idea with the hashbrowns!!!
I smuggled it in scrambled eggs (with cheese and salsa) and I was able to tolerate it ok in orange and pineapple juice.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

A friend of mine used to eat it on popcorn! Not terrible, kind of an aquired tast I guess!

I had the nutritional yeast, not brewers yeast. I liked the nutritional yeast just fine. I added it to my V8 and I actually really liked it. If you add too much, though, it gets really thick, and that isn't very easy to drink.

I had to take loads and loads of Brewers Yeast to maintain my supply while nursing. Pills were too expensive for how much I had to take so I tried mixing the powder with everything! The only thing I could manage to stomach was when I mixed it in orange juice (I used 16 oz OJ to 2 tbsp BY, just so you have an idea of the ratio). I never did try cooking with it, but if the hash browns work for you, I'd go with it.
