Hi Ladies,
i wanted to get some input, advice, guidance as im getting desperate!
heres my story... in 2008, we find out my tubes are blocked and went on to do IVF. retrieved 19 eggs and after PGD we had 3 boys and 1 girl. we transferred the best looking embryos and i had an ectopic pregnancy in right tube so clipped that tube.
a few months later we did FET and got pregnant with my daughter who now is two years old.
in dec 2011 we started IVF again but this time we wanted to go for a boy! so after IVF and PGD we only had 2 boys left, there were no embryos to freeze. i had a chemical pregnancy.
so three months later we did IVF with PGD again and again we only had 2 boys no others for freezing. i got pregnant but it was ectopic again but in my left tube, so had it clipped.
and just recently we did IVG with PGD and again only 2 boy embryos none to freeze. and i got a negative pregnancy test.
im at the end of my rope, we are looking to go to another doctor. i just feel like im not meant to have another baby... it breaks my heart.

What luck with the ectopics. Maybe skip the PGD? You're good at making boys considering you've had one girl in all your cycles combined. Are you using Natera or FISH?

Hi,
i have no idea if it was FISH or Natera. What does that mean. All i know is they sent the biopsies out for 10 chromosomes testing.

I would never use anything more than a 5-probe FISH. Whoever you cycled with, I would change. That is so outdated.
I would use more current testing like GSN/Natera with day 3 biopsy or day 5 with aCGH or Natera.
You can identify if they are truly normal by testing all chromosomes that way. Once you do that, you can see it it's the chromosomes causing the BFN or the lining if they are truly normal.
The ectopics are successful omplantations and likely healthy embryos do that's just unfortunate.
10 chromosome FISH isn't all that helpful with the potential of false positives from the washing of the cell and reapplying dye to the missing other chromosomes that could be tested.

There is a HT guide in the Member Section. You have to be a Dream Member to access it.

Your clinic doesn't do a lot of cycles. Dr Lin is used on here and HRC gets a lot of cyclers from here. Both are GS clinics.
