Sad Face Just a little Grizzle...

Sometimes I feel like I am doing all the hard work on my own. I want to share everything with my husband, but even though he is willing to go along with the sway, sometimes he just doesnt want to hear about all the ins and outs of the process and I feel I have no one to talk to!! Ive done all the research into the supps, diet etc etc, but the moment I have a question I want to run passed him, he really doesnt seem interested! Im so bummed out I still havent got AF after stopping BF over 3 months ago. I really want to fall pregnant asap, but feel so out of control over the whole situation. Doc says its all normal, but I must be very impatient as I just need to know where I stand!! Anyway, thats the end of the venting!! Ahhhhh Sorry to put this on here I just needed someone to talk to!!

    Hi Salsa,
GD was the only place I could talk about a lot of things...I barely could talk about swaying because it would scare DH away from BDing at all. The funny thing was he knew I lived on here, and 'blogged' daily.. and was really wanting to know what I was saying about me and him on here YET he didn't want to hear it either! LOL
After we found out we are indeed having a girl he was genuinely interested in exactly what we did and when it happened. I felt a sense of peace and was happy that he was getting more and more excited about the baby we made together. He did help with supplements..but that's IT! LOL The rest was all me!
Don't feel bad, just shoot for your dreams and sway and do all the venting here and ask all the questions you need. We will all be here!

I understand where you're coming from too. We have two boys (an heir and a spare, as I refer to them) and even though in the past my husband said he'd like a girl, he won't do anything to help sway. I left out cranberry pills for him to take on a business trip the other day and he left them right there on the sink. I get frustrated because I knew if we had two girls he would be doing whatever it takes to get his boy, and I'm not asking him to do anything other than swallow a couple extra pills a day.

I feel better today, just needed to vent last night! Its also encouraging to see you expecting your little princess!! I cant wait for that to be me!! I think I just need to relax and chill out a bit. I know that AF will return when I stop thinking about it so much! But easier said than done - I tend to obsess over things
Anyway, my husband is pretty great most of the time. He knows ive been really stressed out and tired lately with sick kids and no sleep, so he suprised me with a trip to Phuket for us both, for a week, kid free at a 5 star resort! So hoping I can focus on that for a bit and in the meantime who knows, maybe my body will kick back into action!! lol

Hi BZ94, yes it can get very frustrating! My husband fortunately will take the supps. He's just not interested in anything I say about it. He's happy to go along with it, but doesnt care to hear about it all. I feel better toda after having my little vent last night, I just am thankful I have you ladies to talk to. Its the only place I feel I can really be honest with how I feel and no one will judge me.
THis is such a wonderful support network, without it Im sure alot of us would give up on our sways as at times it can be difficult if you dont have any support!

My husband wouldn't do anything to sway either time and was very vocal in not believing in any of it. He would have been happy with 5 boys and was kind of bummed out when I came back from my u/s with my girly pics. He has changed his tune now tho and seems to like her - he's making plans to teach her to drive the tractor. Where we come from that's high praise.

My husband would take or not take whatever I asked but after the first week he was so over my obsessive need to explain whatever cool new thing I had just learned. Everyone here is obsessed, it's a beautiful thing fx and all my girly dust!

Bz94 - I was in the opposite place, 3 girls going for a boy and dh still wasn't really into it. I thought he'd be gung ho to go for a boy but he was happy with his girls, he did what I asked but only out of fear I'd blame him if we had another girl (he later admitted). Even now that we have our son I'm not sure he believes that it was the sway that got him. Men (shaking head)
