Hi all,
I came across this site after the other site I've been on (IG) went down and I can't log on (figures it would happen right before my sway!). I really wish I'd found this site first! I am planning to sway this December for a girl and DH and I have been on the IG diet for about 1 1/2 weeks. It is super strict and really tough to follow. I've already lost about 4 pounds and I'm starving! I've been noticing that most girls on here do the LE diet and do not test pH. I bought one of those expensive pH testers (as instructed to do by IG) and was 5.7 before diet and now I'm 4.3-4.8. I've been skipping breakfast and only having 1 cup of half calf coffee with sugar free creamer in the am, non-fat greek yogurt and a slice of homemade low sodium bread for lunch, and usually chicken and pasta for dinner. We've been super strict about have no salt on anything and only buying low sodium foods, only green beans or peas for veggies, raspberries or cranberries for fruit, and little to no alcohol. I am taking 2 calcium with vit D supplements and 4 cranberry supplements per day and drinking 3 cups of peppermint tea per day and fat free milk. After looking through some posts on this site I'm not sure if I'm doing the right things. I'd love any suggestions/advice on my diet and supplements. I don't plan on worrying about timing as I'd like to get pregnant ASAP so I can eat normally again, lol! Please give any suggestions you have and let me know where I can find more details about the LE diet. Thank you! This site is great![]()

There is more info about the LE diet in the dream member section which you can join for only $12. It was definitely worth it. I also found IG first and thought that I would never be able to stick to that strict of a diet and a lot of things they recommended didn't make sense to me. The main differences I have seen here is not worrying about PH, no cal/mag supplements, no ions, LE diet (which makes a lot of sense to me), and no worrying about O+12. Under trying to concieve a girl, most of the info is under ttc a girl best practices. Good luck!

Hi and welcome!
case against pH is found here: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...ph-pickle.html
That is not a bad sway diet by any definition. It's pretty LE overall, altho I'd have you drop the chicken and the Vit. D for sure, and I'd advise that you drop the calcium http://genderdreaming.com/forum/tryi...ersial.htmland switch to aspirin instead of cran. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-...echniques.html
Also, I would strongly urge that you be sure to get at least 2500 mg of potassium a day because it can be very dangerous to get less than that.
Did you find the LE Diet in the DM section?? http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-...-ttc-pink.html
Some of us use saw palmetto rather than pep tea (pep tea is good too though) and you can read about them here:http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-...depth-how.html
Just to put your mind at ease about timing, have a gander at this.http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...le-timing.html!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thank you atomic. I will be switching to baby aspirin asap and dropping the calcium. Do you recommend I start vitex since I am only 6 weeks away from my sway? I don't want to mess up my cycle at this point as I really would love to be successful on my first attempt. Thanks again
