is better for ttc a girl because you have dryer cm. is this true? also that a higher dose 100/150 is better?

Instinctively that makes sense to me but I would personally not want to go against anything that my doctor told me to do. If you take Clomid at the wrong time, it may keep you from getting pregnant (or your egg won't stick) and you can only be on it for a short time because it can cause cancer if you take it for too long, so you need to get pg as quick as you can. And taking a bigger dose than you need sets you up for conceiving multiples or developing OHSS.

im on 100 mg right now. i was thinking about asking for half but im not sure. i dont think the doc will care if i go to 5-9 it was up to me what days i wanted to do and i always did 3-7.

i always hear about ohss but i have never had this happen. do you think i'll be ok with it then? my doctor doesn't even really monitor me. she just has me come in every 3 months and run labs and do a quick u/s. she just doesn't seem concerned.

i just start day 3 this cycle but them im taking a break until march and april and starting again in may when i start my actual sway and i'll do 5-9. im just trying to get my cycle normal right now and this has helped.

I have been taking Clomid 100 mg day 4-8 this cycle, and went to a u/s on day 11. it showed two 22 mm follicles and I took a trigger shot the same night, Ovidrel, to help me ovulate. I was not dry, but had no ewcm.
Mommyduke, do you have ovulation pain when on Clomid? I never have ovulation pain, but this cycle I had severe pain, so I think it's the Clomid.

no i get real crampy though. i had real strong ovulation pain on soy though. i love soy and got pregnant on it 4 times (my girl, 2 boy, and a m/c) but decided not to take it this time since i have had 2 boys on it.
