Hi all - I am around 8 weeks and was feeling fine in mornings but feeling sick at lunchtime and continuing to feel sick for rest of day. Yesterday and today I don't feel hardly anywhere near as sick. Is this a bad sign? My last pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 8 weeks so starting to worry. I still feel tired and have tender breasts now and then. Thanks!

Try not to worry. I'm currently 10 wks pregnant and my symptoms completely disappeared around 7 wks and I started believing that I had lost the baby. I started googling loss of pregnancy symptoms and read that this is common. A few days later the symptoms came back with a vengeance.
brand new. Successful girl sway. Thankyou so very much Atomic for all your wonderful advice.

Its normal to have a break in symptoms and have them return, it depends how your HCG is rising (it can go in fits and starts) and how your body is coping. I lost some symptoms around week nine..and they returned in week 10. And I am still feeling them in week 12. I wouldn't worry unless you are bleeding as well.

We may be done, we may come back for one more sway. Time will tell. At the moment, we are very content with our family!

It depends on your hormone levels, i had this with ds3 i got so excited when my boobs got sore again. Most miscarriages that i know of women have had either pain and or bleeding or really strong symptoms. This time i've barely had any and worried about that to especially after how sick i was at times with ds3, we can't win either way eh!

My symptoms totally disappeared at 9 weeks except for my sore bb's. I felt great for around 3 weeks then I got sick with the flu and they came back for a week but have now disappeared again (13.5wks) I still have sore bb's at night (never had this with my boys) and now the 2nd tri headaches but aside from that Im great! I'm also told my nub is super girly so maybe it's a great sign for you too! x

Thanks all. They did come back a bit then yesterday I felt awful all day from the minute I got up til the minute I went to bed - I even had to re arrange work then today I have felt great - had loads more energy and only just getting really tired now - 9pm - that's good for me at the moment lol!!!! It's all weird! Wish I had my scan date through! A girl would be a dream come true but I don't seem to have the typical girl food cravings! Oh and my hair is growing the same and thought should stop if you're having a girl lol!!! This is me not obsessing!!!!

Well if my baby is a girl then the cravings were exactly the same for all my babies. Ive craved salty rubbish for all 3. My hair has been growing great too - the only thing is my leg hair has slowed (maybe) but thats a guess, everywhere else is the same though. Im obsessed with it all too so dont worry you're not alone. I went and had a look at the boy nubs on ingender and there are a few on there that look like mine so Im scared to get my hopes up to high for a girl.. x

I echo the girls - try not to worry! I've been through 9 pregnancies, 7 of them miscarriages, and each of them was different.
With my DD I was sick as a dog - literally slept 22 hours a day and the 2 hours I was awake was spent on the toilet floor!
With my DS1 I had sore boobs for two days, threw up twice and was symptom free the rest of the time.
With DS3 I was nauseas and threw up every day between 6pm and 10pm - outside those hours I was symptom free.
Every pregnancy is different - even in the same woman! So try not to stress. I know how scared you are, trust me, but stressing yourself out is bad for you and your baby!2005
