I've actually had the UTI for about 3 days. I really noticed it on Friday thought if I drank a ton of water it would flush things out. Nope still there and in full force. To make things worse My 21 month old woke up vomiting. I called my OB/GYN this morning and said he would do it only this one time, call in an antibiotic without a urine sample. I have meds being called in, will start them today.
I ovulated yesterday, With my first post. opk on Sunday and a temp rise this morning. I know antibiotic aren't good for a girl sway. With me being on them after ovulation how much of an impact will it have?

Well, if you need it you need it, and it's rather a moot point. If it's not a long course of abx I wouldn't sweat it. Sickness of any kind (say, the UTI) sways pink and so you'd probably end up back at 'neutral' after the abx.
Have you tried drinking a tonne of cranberry juice to flush it out? The only other natural remedy that's worked for me is straight up baking soda (like a few tsp full) in a glass of water and chugged down (yuck, but it works) but baking soda sways blue too so you're probably better off just doing the abx since it'll get rid of the UTI faster.Me (38) and DH (38)

thanks for the reply. My UTI is so bad I NEED the antibiotics. lol I would take them regardless of where I am in the sway, I'm not one to put my own health at that kind of risk. lol I havent picked them up yet, but I do know there are only 6 pills. I was curious how much of an impact it would have after dropping the egg. After doing a search I did find the reasons as to why they sway.
And whyyyy didn't I think of cranberry juice!?!? lol oh well. Antibiotics here I come.

after the fact it is fine. Don't worry about it. IF (and I doubt you will) you see any extra CM next month at ovulation, just have antihistamine on hand to dry it up.
hope you and ds are feeling better!!!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
