Hi everyone,
I'm fairly new on this site and still reading through all the information which is quite overwhelming. I have a few simple questions that I hope someone can help clarify???
-Is honey and Penut butter OK in small amounts?? like 1 tbsp each per day while swaying girl??
-I'm tempted to be on an LE diet for a short time and just giving it a try in January - that gives me less than 4 weeks since I started the LE diet today - Is that too soon to attempt?
-I've been a vegetarian my whole life and don't eat eggs - I also only drink organic milk when necessary. I'm not planning on taking any supplements as of right now as I don't want my cycle to get messed up and only use rePhrash!!! is it still doable or are all the supplements etc.. necessary??
I hope someone can help me answer these questions..THank you in advance

The most important part of the sway is the diet, so don't worry too much about all the supplements (although you should be taking folic acid at the very least). For girl, you want to go low protein and nutrients, so I would take it easy on the honey and peanut butter. We usually try to encourage 6 weeks on the diet before an attempt, but some woman have had successful sways after being on the diet for less than that. Good luck!

It's a fairly big risk only doing diet for a short time like that.. But like anchor said, there's been a handful that have done it successfully. I guess you have to be the judge here.. Are you happy enough to do it all that way and chance get a boy? If so, perfect sway for you!
either way, changing something is a good start, and even if you didn't sway at all you'd still have a chance for a girl!
good luck x

Hi and welcome!
1)yes, they are ok in small amounts. You need to stick within the overall goals of the LE Diet and you can find the short version here: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/tryi...l-version.html They may not be your absolute BEST choice, however.
2)We have been seeing a trend where people on diet for a bit longer seem to be having higher success than those on diet a short time. That having been said, it largely depends on your diet before and also how much weight you can spare. If you weigh 85 lbs and already eat an LE-type diet (which it sounds like you do) then you may want to go ahead and TTC after not a long time on diet. You don't want to risk your ovulation.
3)Yes, it's still totally doable! Keep in mind that virtually all the baby girls ever conceived were gotten without any of these supplements, just from lifestyle and dietary factors.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

The only supps I've been doing are folic acid and baby aspirin, although I am coming off the baby aspirin to only once or twice a week.

I've been doing the diet very strict for two weeks now and the two weeks before that I tried as much as possible as I was on vacation and it was next to impossible to obey every rule. My diet before hand was somewhat similar.. I didn't consume massive amounts of meat or protein. So in reality I am doing it super strict for 3.5 weeks. I have no weight to spare, but I've already lost 3 lbs. I am hoping that the shock to my system of all this will sway, but I also have a timeframe I want to be pregnant in and I only stumbled upon this site a little over a month ago. Do what you can, but if you can't live with another boy then it's obviously best to do the diet as long as possible so you don't regret it.
I'm also not doing supplements. I'm taking folic acid, using antihistamines, and represh. DH is taking a lower dose of licorice root but that's it. So you aren't alone in the short diet, no supps. but I also can't say I'm overly confident myself. That's partially because I just think I'm only capable of having boys...
Good luck with your sway
