    Questions!

    Hi Everyone,
I am sure this has been asked before but with so much info it can be hard to find. We had our second attempt about a week ago now. At the time we used Acijel which I had started using a few days before O and it kept my PH nice and low but right around O I noticed I got a TON of EWCM. I have ALWAYS had a lot which is one of the many reasons I have boys, but I think my body was trying to get rid of the jelly so there was tons of it. Also my husband is Filipino and when his family saw how much weight I've lost they freaked out and force fed me. I just at some point got tired of listening to it and honestly the stress of listening to it was worse than just eating but the 2 or 3 days leading up to O I gained a lb, possibly 2. I am sitting here feeling so stressed that the combination of EWCM and weight gain are going to be the things that ruined my sway after 3 months of such hard work. Do you think these two things could have ruined my sway? I know I shouldn't even think about it until I have a BFP but I can't help worry about it! Thank you for any input!

Hi we have just had an unplanned bfp, I had been swayin for 5 weeks but in the 2-3 days before ov I was visiting friends and ate a lot more than I should have. I also had the big o and I didn't use any rephresh or anything as I wasn't planning to bd this cycle. I think if u have been LEing for as long as 3m a couple of off days won't have ruined ur sway. Good luck

I don't think what you eat in the 2ww (other than skipping breakfast) affects it as much should you conceive this cycle

as for the EWCM, if you had been taking things to lower pH then having lots of lower-pH-EWCM wouldn't have harmed your sway and might even help you get a conception. Did you take antihistmaines? was it definitely EWCM and not leftover "deposits" from previous DTD or a reaction to the gel?

Yes it was def EWCM. I was taking zyrtec from CD1 and occasionally Benadryl also. But there were still loads of it. Also the weight gain that happened wasn't in my tww, it was the two days leading up to and O day. I'm feeling pretty stressed over it, especially after reading the how we got our girls thread and almost everyone said no EWCM.

Hi Tammy123. I am hoping youre right that the body will go off what has been happening over the last 5 weeks or several months rather than a few days. I just have to keep faith about all the women who got their girls not doing anything different, good luck and congrats on your BFP!!

NOTHING you ever do can ruin a sway. You always have a chance at your DG - swaying is just that, swaying, and not a guarantee in any way.

I completely agree that some people's bodies don't like the jellies and make a lot of mucus to wash them away. Some people just roll with it and count on the low pH to carry the day, others use antihistamine to dry it up, and others ignore it all together. I didn't use jelly or antihistamine and did get a girl with some EWCM so i know it's possible.

Don't worry too much about the gaining a pound or two right before O, it's the overall pattern of diet that counts and not any one or two days (even riight before O.) Just regroup and get ready for next month!!
