Is it normal for the diet to cause bad acne breakouts?

Last month i did hard dieting. Which i hardly was eating, but this month i am getting help on the right way to diet
My question is does the diet cause any of you Ladies to have bad acne breakouts? I noticed that with me. Made me feel like a teen again LOL. I am wondering was that a good sign hormone wise. I am taking Vitex and drinking peppermint tea.

I wasn't on the diet long, only a few weeks before falling pregnant, I didn't notice any acne while on the diet. But once I fell pregnant and before I realized that I was, I had bad acne and still do. Something I've not experienced with my boys.

I have got the teens spots too! I never usually get any I am not on any sups yet! So maybe?
