I am BF my 5 month old and am not currently ovulating. I previously became fertile at 7 or 8 months when my boys began to eat more solids. If AF comes back at a similar time i will go for a girl sway. I would like a small gap this time so I was wondering what I could do (apart from stopping BF) to help my fertility returning if it takes longer than last time. Also, is it possible to chart with temps if I am having disturbed nights? If i take my basal temp 1st thing in the morning I have often been up several times by then!

Welcome Bunneyfluff! I'm also planning a pink sway whilst bf my DS2 who is 6 months and I don't plan on stopping. I've started vitex in order to bring my cycle back. With regards to pinpointing O I'm planning on using OPKs and BDing after I get a positive one. Can't temp as DS2 is a super nurser and we co-sleep so wouldn't be accurate.
These essays by Atomic really helped me - http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...stfeeding.html

Hope this helps!

Most of your q's should be answered in those links.
You can chart with interrupted sleep, some people take temps before bed and just look for a pattern - it may not be as obvious as temping in the morning is.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

sweet mummy it is nice to 'meet' another UK mummy who is going to sway pink while BF a similar aged child. Where is a good place to get cheap OPKs in the UK?

Well done you're halfway there
I bought some cheap ones on ebay but heard some other UK mummies found some on amazon. When are you planning on ttc? Come join us over on the ttc pink in March thread if you plan on swaying soon (I started off wanting to ttc in March but may actually have to have our first attempt in April/May as still waiting on vitex to bring back AF - so not strictly for those ttc in that month) http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-...e-buddies.html

I can't access it either... But, I'm also from uk and bf-ing 5 month old. I was also hoping to ttc in March but want AF to regulate first. I've had one AF 6 weeks ago, very light but with just a 6 day luteal phase...
I got a positive OPK today but until my luteal phase is long enough I don't want to try. (I had a mmc when bf-ing my first so am a bit nervous).
I heard Bf-ing sways girl so I don't want to stop. Oh and it was spacing out feeds that I think got AF to come back.
Finally I get my OPKs from Amazon, 'one step'.
