My boob just started feeling hot and sort of tingly and so I looked and I could see that there was a TINY bit of milk or colostrum seeping from my boobs. It wasn't dripping or anything, I could just seem it filling up the crevices if that makes any sense. So I tried to lightly express something and I definitely got some liquid out?!
I stopped BFing like 9 months ago... is this normal? Does this mean hormone issues? I'm having LP problems (too short) but I don't think it's from low progesterone so I'm looking for anything that might be causing it as before my DS2 I was a picture perfect cycle girl!
And I'm only 3DPO...

Leaky BOOB?

I had leaking boobs about 8 months after stopping bf DS2. My family doctor tested my prolactin and sent me for an u/s both of which were fine. Then sent me to a specialist who just told me that if you have boobs they sometimes leak, lol. I think basically they want to rule out hormonal issues (prolactin) and any abnormality (u/s) but if those are normal they are not too concerned about it. After a bunch of googling at the time, I think for me it was caused by stimulation from running with a crappy bra....
Maybe have your doctor check it out if it keeps happening...2006,

Oh okay, I knew some hormone was related. I got my blood tested on CD14 (even though I don't O on CD14?!?!) and just was in today when my GP said prolactin was fine.. so I guess that's not a problem...

I got told the if you have boobs and have babies sometimes they can leak too!! I had a bit when I pinched my nipple for over 12 months and went to the doctor! She told me not to worry gave me a breast examination and told me to stop pinching it and it would go away! I don't know if it did I stopped pinching it :/
I would mention it to the doctor when you go back just to be sure it's ok.Hoping for a pink rainbow!
