CM testing (again)

This q is bothering me for quite a while...
I test my CM pH 2-3 times a cycle, before O, during O, and sometimes after.
But after BDing every other day, how do I know what Im testing, my CM or mixture of my CM and DHs left-overs
How long after BDing does it take to test again only my CM?

See I have no idea (DH don't leave leftovers) but I would say if you want to test ph to see if it went up from O ( after BD) use condom or pull out , because to wait for the semen to "clear out" that would be to late to test for after O ph.

So far I don't see any deference in my Ph after O.Suppose to go up , but of course not for me. Ohhh no

Mine pH does go up, but not enough lol! But since we BD every other day and I test my EWCM I was wondering is this really my EWCM pH or his product made it higher His pH is around 8, so if we get another girl, it would be completely his fault

I know EXACTLY how you feel As I already posted, my perfect plan was to bd every other day, Friday (April 15) and then Sunday (April 17) and possibly Tuesday just to make sure....Well, I made my plans without DH...

BD Friday night went great, but Sunday night DH just DIDN'T FEEL LIKE IT He was exhausted as usual. Somehow we managed to bd but it was torture. I just hate when something that is supposed to be fun become torture

i hear ya. dh was like that with both our TTC attempts. but we were doing it everyday. i used to think, jeez am i really that hideous. my whole life i was under the impression that all guys were pervs. and constantly wanted sex. guess marriage is different..or should i say babymaking is different! id even take on his "chores" those days so that he d be not too tired, etc.

i wonder if we could slip a viagra in their drink or something or maybe not viagra but those horny pills you can get from those goofy mall stores.
im seriously thinking of having dh take a week off from work the week i predict ovulation (in sept).


if anything, i think you have enough in there stored up and waiting around from those 2 days of bd! good luck!

I"m sorry, this one sneaked past me.

The answer is, you don't know with 100% surety! You have a pretty good idea by the next morning because it's mostly gone then. I would check before my attempt and then the morning after and figure that the truth is somewhere in the middle.

Honestly, the fact is that you never really truly know what your pH is up inside the Fallopian tubes where the egg will be fertilized anyway. You are kinda flying blind and just trusting that the diet and supps are doing what they are supposed to do.
