Reflexologists believe if you have a swelling on your right foot (where the foot arch is and underneath the ankle bone) this means you are having a boy and if on your left foot it's a girl.
Apparently this swelling represents the uterus and only pregnant woman have it. And as the right side of your body represents the male side in reflexology you would have a swelling there if it was a boy.
Just wondered if anyone ever used reflexology to determine gender. I had a friend once that had her hands felt and was told she was having a boy, the reflexologist was right!!! I tried it and feel my left side is more swollen.
NOTE!!!!! please don't mess to much with these points as it can stimulate your uterus!!

Ok so I googled it and the correct way is to really do a foot imprint (I did a wet foot on dry concrete lol) and I can definitely see it and what they are talking about and if its true then left means girl for me, and I should know any day now, would be awesome if it was correct

Okay, I may have debunked this a little. Apparently, the reason why this happens is because the uterus swells during pregnancy. It's thought that the uterus may swell on one side vs the other more because of where the baby is positioned in the uterus. Boys tend to hang on on the right side and girls tend to hang out on the left. My DS was always on my left side when I went to my appointments with my midwives so I'll bet my left foot had the swelling last time around. I really hope this is wrong for me or maybe I'm reading it wrong, or maybe it's too early to determine. Does anyone else know anything more about this? I am freaking out right now.
Edit: This site says the lump on the left means a boy and on the right means a girl: http://www.pregnancyforum.co.uk/seco...xperiment.htmlLast edited by BabyGirl4Me; April 17th, 2013 at 10:22 PM.
