    TTC/Swaying after M/C

I am going through an early miscarriage, and not sure how to proceed with the process of ttc and swaying. I heard/read that the first cycle following m/c (before the first period) sways girl, so I am tempted to try again right away. However, I have been off the diet and supps for a few weeks, and there is no way I'll be able to figure out timing with any certainty, since I don't know when I'll O after m/c. I am so sad about the loss and want to get pg again as soon as possible, so would prefer not to wait until after first period, but I will if I need to. I have an appointment with my ob next week, and I'm thinking she'll advise me to wait one cycle, but if this cycle really does sway girl I kind of want to try.

I really feel like everything was aligned so perfectly the cycle I conceived... diet and supps were good, timing was a 3 day cut off, and even biorhythms and moon phase were right. I feel like now everything is up in the air and I don't even know what to do. Anyone have any advice?

I'm so sorry. I guess it depends on what you diet has been like with being off it. I would be inclined to get back to where you want to be with diet rather than risk it on the hopes of having one because of the miscarriage. Is it a fact about that swaying girl or anecdotal? I am sorry you are going through this.

Hmm, I'm not sure there are any studies, etc. that show it's more likely to conceive a girl after miscarriage. It's mostly just what I've read at ingender (something to do with hormones). Mostly I just don't want to wait another cycle because I so badly want to be pregnant again, but I also want to sway the best that I can. I am trying my best to stick to the diet, but I have to be careful because I'm already at a very low weight and can't afford to lose much more. This is so hard, not sure what to do.

It's anecdotal and actually I believe Tamara herself conceived her son the cycle after a miscarriage. Supposedly the progesterone is higher but we don't even know for sure if higher progesterone sways in any way at all.

I would say go for it, but you need to be on the diet for at least six weeks. I personally waited because my temps where very high so I guess my progesterone level was high.
