Ok...here it is. I had my plan all sorted out, with hubby on board. BUT I just sat and read all the timing essays and the discussions and now got myself all confused. Can you all please read and help?
I am due to O on CD13 this month (27th).
AF is CD1-4 (14th-18th). I would take SI CD 2-7.
I have clockwork cycles lol
Plan was Hubby to FR CD5-11. Use RepHresh on CD 11 and DTD CD 12 (1DBO). Sit back and enjoy TWW.
After reading the essays, I got to thinking that compressed FR (have him release outside on CD11 twice, then once in morning CD12 and DTD CD12 night?) might suit us better as we don't have time or privacy enough to have him release EVERY day/night for a week. We make love 2 or 3x a month anyway BUT that would mean he would be abstaining? The essay said not to suddenly switch from abstain to FR, but we naturally abstain.
Also read that it should be FR BD???? But I thought he was supposed to FR outside until day of attempt (CD12)??? Nervous because we did this with our last child (one attempt at O - Shettles) and have another boy.
Can anyone please advise which route to take??? Hubby was looking forward to FR, but I'm not sure that will work if we need to BD all that time, as that is how we ended up with our first three boys (we just done it wherever, whenever with a view to having a baby lol)

I answered this in your other thread. You are mixing up frequent release and frequent BD thru O which are two totally different things.
Switching from abstain to FR is when people were abstaining and then inexplicably do like 5 attempts after that. So they don't get the benefits of the abstain and they don't get the benefits of FR, either. If you're using it as a sway tactic, stick with abstain + 1 attempt and if you want more than one attempt, then do FR instead of abstain. If you just naturally don't BD that much, it's FINE to start FR and then do that as long as (like I said already in your other thread) you have 7-10 releases before the earliest attempt that can possibly get you pregnant.
Seriously, I think frequency barely matters if at all and I really don't think you should be dwelling on it to this extent. my advice is to stick with one attempt because that's gotten better results than anything to do with frequency!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
