    6 weeks and constantly starving!

So with DD1 I was never hungry during my first trimester. I actually lost 10 lbs cause I had ms so bad. With DD2 I had zero morning sickness but still ate like I always had. Only ever ate breakfast once in a blue moon, most of the time I never ate till lunch time which was usually something very small, ate a big dinner, and then snacked at night before bed. I did sway for a boy this time so I started eating breakfast, lunch and dinner regularly with a snack in between each meal and one before bed. I was never hungry and it was hard for me to eat all that food and I always had to force myself to eat and put alarm reminders on my phone or I wouldn't eat cause I was never hungry. I have never in my life been a big eater. Ever! Even when I first got my BFP at 3 weeks 3 days (9dpo) I actually went back to my old eating habits of not eating a lot. I am 6 weeks 4 days and for the past 2 weeks I have been eating like a pig. I mean I literally do not stop eating. I am not exaggerating either. I am eating a huge breakfast, huge lunch, and huge dinner every day plus I am literally eating snacks in between every meal and I'm having those snacks like every 15 minutes. No joke. And their not small snacks either. Each snack is like the size of a meal. If I go more than 30 minutes without a snack I actually feel a little weak and shaky. I have never experienced hunger like this. It's insane! I have read women being extra hungry in their first trimester but nothing like this. Also, I'm not even really putting any wait. I check my weight once a week and I have only put on 2lbs in the past two weeks which is nothing big for me cause my weight is never steady and I always fluctuate between 112 and 115 every couple weeks. Had anyone ever been hungry like this? I'm kinda worried that their could be something wrong and I don't see my dr till I'm 12 weeks. Any thoughts?

With my first son I ate like 7 McDonald cheeseburgers in 1 sitting lol. A lot of my boys I ate a lot early on. Good luck!
Mommy to 7 finally had #1 in 2016! Had boy #8 after. Now returning to try to sway for final child praying for #2 🤞🙏

I can't remember with my first son exactly but with my second son I was quite hungry weeks 5-6, and then the morning sickness came. I remember fatigue was my first symptom, then hunger. Then in second trimester I was quite hungry again. I gained around 40 pounds I believe, but I lost 10 in first trimester from sickness.

I really hope so! I found this interesting article online about a research study done of 244 pregnant women. It showed that women who carried boys ate 10% more calories daily than women carrying girls. The study was done during the second trimester, my guess is because morning sickness is so common during the first trimester. I am keeps my fingers crossed. In 6 weeks I will be getting a ultrasound so hoping very much for a good nub shot.

for me I ate probably 50% more than I did with my girls, which is probably why with the girls I gained 30 lbs and with DS 60lbs!

With my 3rd my appetite was huge & I craved meat and cheese, I really loved cottage cheese, very different to my other two, I really thought I was having a boy.

I hope its a sign for you and you get your boy!
