Hi,
i've been meaning to join for ages, and have been avidly reading all the info for a while.
i didnt know there were two websites like these and 2 years ago, did a very hard sway for a girl using the info on the 'other' website.
i took lots of folic acid, but also vitamin b6 which is where i believe my sway failed, and i concieved Twin boys...., much to my dismay, they are of course gorgeous now and fab baby brothers to their older brother.
I swayed again in July and am pregnant with my fourth, i follwed your diets as much as i could, definitely shallow release, so much so thay we thought it all fell out! 6 then 4 days before ovulation, and i got pregnant.
My first quite simple question is.. wouls having two attempts ruin my sway, we were trying to abstain and just have the one attempt but i realised i was 6 days before O so we had another go 2 days later.
I didnt douch or anything like that but noticed i had a little more CM the second attempt probably because of the first 2 days before..
My second rather serious question is this.
A friend of mine, was trying not to get pregnant, she was on the combined birth control pill with estrogen and progestin, it was her first month on it, so she wasnt properly covered, she missed a day and ovulated, DTD that very evening, the next day she took the morning after pill. The UK version which is just a really high dose of progestin, or synthetic progesterone, she still got pregnant, that was literally the only time they DTD without a condom, so she knows that made her pregnant. The morning after pill she was told didnt work because she had already ovulated... so it then tries to make the CM a more hostile environment for sperm... that failed for her too.
Shes now convinced shes having a girl and telling everyone including me that she did the biggest girl sway of all because of the two pills, comtraceptive and MAP.
Is there any truth in that being a major pink sway?
I'd love to know because everytime We google MAP babies they more often than not seem to be girls?

replied yesterday but post was lost, to sum up -
While coming off BCP does seem to sway pink in terms of more girls being conceived after taking it, the morning after pill we don't know if it actually sways pink before conception, or if more boys are conceived and then lost after taking it (I do agree that anecdotally I have seen more pink MAP babies than blue. I do not want anyone to use the morning after pill as a sway tactic, it's just not my cup o tea and I would not feel comfortable helping anyone to do that.
(this is not what the poster was asking about or intending, just want everyone to know that.)!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Our DD was conceived after me being off the pill for only a week or two. She was also a "jump and dump" one time out of the month bd. The opposite of FR DH hadn't released in over a month. Little did I know all of those things combined = perfect girl conditions along with my low cal crappy food diet.
