So one week ago yesterday my life changed forever....
It was a typical morning 11AM and I was indulging in Little Ceasars pizza and a container of delicious sauce and drinking a coke with it... when all of a sudden my stomach started to ache it felt as though I had eaten the whole pizza and a few cokes.. it was like a completely overfilled feeling it hurt SOOO bad.. and I thought "Ok, i'll lay down and it will be gone in an hour" No.
It went on until 8 pm that night.. I laid on my bed all day writhing in pain and taking several hot baths asking myself if I could have stomach cancer! And at this point the pain had moved to the right of my stomach and my hubby who had been laying beside me sleeping peacefully finally got up and asked how I was doing. I was just staring at him with tears ********* down my face and all I could do was shake my head. It was though I had been laboring for hours in my stomach and my back hurt too. Finally a thought came to me.. gallbladder.. is it not next to the tummy on the right.. and I said "I think it could be gallstones please go look it up" He announced from the computer: "Your symptoms are paramount of a gallbladder attack" Next he looked up the home remedy..apple cider vinegar. It claimed my pain would be gone within an hour.. I sipped the horrible most potent vinegar on the earth while in the hot bath.. the pain stopped!!!!!!
The next day I just couldn't believe it.. and we were gonna have a fattening dinner that night at my moms.. anyways, I was lucky, in fact I just decided.. well maybe it was a stone that passed and now I'm fine.. Well...
Friday.. night... I indulged in mexican lasagna, spring mix salad with cottage cheese and topped with my fave dressing.. thousand island and washed it down with a coke.. the pain returned and this time WITH A VENGEANCE!!!! This time... The pain immediately went to my back and my shoulder blades it was horrible! By 12am I couldn't take it anymore and said .. "Ok, I have to go to the ER, I can't take it.. I'm not saying I'll take anything for the pain I just HAVE to get diagnosed!"
So after waiting 2 hours to get in, the pain was coming in waves and I thought it would go away..
2 hours later after an ultrasound it was determined that I indeed had some gallstones..
No, seriously, ME?! Something we never say can happen to us indeed happens and that moment of shock knocks us into reality.. It's actually much more common than anyone wants to admit...I post it to facebook and bam, 2 of my friends, one older one younger had theirs out. The nurse caring for me had hers out.. I'm just dumbfounded!!!!!!! I'm sure once I post this several of you will tell me you have too, and that's fine! LOL please tell me your experience!
The doctor tells me....
No Meat, Nothing Fried, Nothing with fat basically...
I get home the internet tells me: No dairy!!!! (besides low fat activia cereal yogurt lol) No desserts.. no cake, pie, donuts, cookies..ETC!
No burgers, no anything fast food! NO COKE! It's my worst nightmare I LIVE TO EAT LADIES!!!! LMAO...
And I am forced into the LE Diet sweet ladies! You ladies are troopers!!!!
The first day I just ate fruit cups, jello, chicken soup.. apple juice I was terrified to eat..
The next day I got more fullness..can't remember what I ate and the day after that I had rice, springmix, chicken, fat free italian dressing (quite tasty) and TONS of veggies and apple juice to drink!
A whole new me, becoming a heath fanatic overnight!!!! LMAO!!!
I have had one coke a day and lived.. because when I woke up the other day with caffeine withdrawl having to live on motrin I said Hell no! LOL
As it stands now...
I have an appointment with the surgeon on Wednesday...
I'm gonna be begging for him to get it out!!!!!
I'm eating so very healthy... My body is craving EVERYTHING I can't have! :'(
Please ladies, I'd love to hear your experience... pointers .. ideas for food I can eat.
Thank you for reading!!!!! I miss you all! I've been so busy and enjoying my baby girl who is growing like a weed! Her first year is FLYING!!!
talk to you all soon!!!!

Is that what the dr is saying for after its removed?
My mom had hers removed about 8 years ago and she is a woman who loves her food... She used to love her Pepsi but she quit pop about 5 years now... She still eats basically the same as before... She does eat a bit healthier but that's to lose weight not because of her gallbladder she love hamburger and fries and chips all of which I still see her eat on a reg basis

I'm so so sorry!!
My sister lived with gall bladder for years before getting hers out. She ate mostly fresh fruits and veg, lowfat turkey, and Campbells tomato soup and vegetable soup. She never found that the vinegar helped hers but I'm glad it worked for you.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

My SIL is about to have hers out. They think she developed it during her pregnancy (she has a girl and has a pretty pink friendly diet/ LE lifestyle naturally). I was talking to my friend about it and she said that it can be caused by not drinking enough fluid during pregnancy (?) apparently her mum had this after she had her and they told her that was the reason. I have no idea if that is true or not but thought I'd share it anyway.
Hope you feel better soon!! X x x2 beautiful blue eyed boys who both own my(3 if you count DH!)
