Hi ladys,
Is there anyone ttc a boy at 40 year old. I will be turning 40 next month. I'll be tring for 3 months now with no bfp. I'm I getting too old. I have 4 DD, age 10, 6, 4, and 1. I want to try for my last one for a boy. The past pregnancys was kind of easy, taking only 1 to 3 months. I was use only timing with #2 or #3. Bed only 1 time at positive opk. This time I have dtd more than once. Like every 2-4 days after af, and 2-3 more after positive opk. Last month I also add in Preseed but still bfn. I want to know how many months (40 years old mom) take to have a bfp.

Hi!
I'm 41 and I'll TTC from February 2014.
It took me 12+ months to conceive DD3 and I was 39I didn't use PreSeed.
Just for the record: DD1 was "non-fertile"day and DD2 was first attempt success, so I was bummed....
Try Maca Root, though I see some people here had their cycles messed up while on it....I'll take it for this baby.

You are definitely not too old, I conceived DS2 at 41 and DS3 at 43 - DS3 was a bit of a mistake as only DTD once, think I got my ov timings wrong, as we were planning to go all out to start trying for DD1 (didn't know what I now know about diet and I eat a very very boy friendly diet)! Good luck xx

Unfortunately, no one can tell you how long it will take to get a BFP - that is different for every person.
I got a boy at 39, and my good friend got one at 41 so it is definitely possible!!
I think you are already doing the best things you can do, having regular intercourse, and using Preseed. You may want to add in some Robi/Muci too. And of course eat a good fertility building diet and take folic acid. Then it is a matter of waiting for a good egg to show up.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

With the last cycle with a bfn, I'm confuse with O time. I was using advance digital opk. On cd13 (dtd) had a flashing opk, cd14 flashing opk, and on cd15 at 5:00 p.m. positive opk, dtd on cd16 early in the moring at 5:00 a.m. and cd 17 early moring 5:00 a.m. thinking I would O on cd17. My luteal phase alway stay the same every month (13 days). So I thought I would start af on Nov. 6.
but af started today. Did I get my O day wrong? I did not O on cd17, but on cd15? confuss....

I can't say for sure what happened, either you ovulated earlier than you think or you had a shorter LP, or both. There's no way to know for sure.
