I read that for girls you need low levels of testosterone and higher levels (or normal!) of progesterone
I also read stress cashes the precursor to progesterone to become cortisol so stress may be a sway factor?
Would factoring in 'less stress' be a good sway factor??xx

I'm actually just working on an essay to address that. First part is here, a few essays down the list LOL http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...ypothesis.html
Please don't stress about stress. Sometimes people get so uptight about "stress" that they actually CAUSE themselves more stress. I have seen a couple of ladies think, "well I'll just make myself relax then" and come up with these huge complicated plans to relax and it's just a really huge step in the wrong direction.
The idea that T and P sway gender is just one theory and it's not at all proven to my satisfaction.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thanks I've read bits of that essay but need to spend more time on it. I do think sometimes you can 'tell' whether someone is a boy or girl mum but I can't put my finger on why! I used to be a teacher before having my boys and a lot of teachers especially art ones tend to be boy mums. My mum and I were also discussing pmt and gender theory - girl mums seem to be angry when PMS hits and boy mums more tearful. This is just anecodal though I have no stats to back it up! Will be very interested to see what more info there is on hormones, stress and gender! I will start my massively complicated relaxation plan soon
lol
As an aside do you predict still being around in 5 or so years? Xx[2012]

I agree sometimes you can tell boy mom vs. girl mom.
I am def. an angry B-- when I have PMS so that one's not true for me anyway.
I answered this in your other thread but I honestly can't say what will happen in 5 years' time! I have no plans to go anywhere or do anything any different but things can change!!!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

A couple people actually have done that and I just try to include as much info as I possibly can for every conceivable situation, and then you have me on tap for 6 months where you can pepper me with q's about every possible facet of gender swaying and then YOU'll be the expert and won't even need me!~

Haha I am an angry B too on pms, like crazy bad raging hormones and I have all boys. I do cry easily though too. My Dh said that he thinks if I could control my stress and temper that I could get my girl. ha

Lol.. I'm always angry as well. I used to be very emotional.. somewere down the line I tried to cover my tears with a big mouth and being mad in stead... lately I started to cry more often again.... It's just as bad (although it gives more relief after) It's weird to be crying so quick again... I just can't help it....
Would be a bit early for PMS though.. lol
Does POS also exists?
