    Dairy and TTC pink

Would it be advisable for me to lay off the milk when TTC pink? We drink whole milk, 1-1.5 gal a week between me and DH, which I drink 60% of.

Yes, dairy, especially whole milk is too nutrient dense, and apparently vitamin D sways blue. I noticed nonfat organic milk or unfortified milk is recommended. I used to drink about that much whole milk but on LE I switched to nonfat and cut waaaay back. Some people drink rice milk instead.

If you're wanting a little milk for whitening tea/coffee I really wouldn't worry too much about it - you're using too little to make a difference. Otherwise have you tried rice milk? I couldn't face it myself and could live without so left it. Not sure what it's like though, probably a little more watery?

While anything is allowed in the greater context of the limits of the diet, I don't think full fat dairy is the best bet for most people. Something in dairy fat seems to up fertility and sway blue so skim is best for most pink swayers.

The exception is people with IR/PCO who don't do as well on skim dairy and should use smaller amounts of full fat instead because it's better for their hormones and blood sugar.

When I got my daughter it was the only time in our lives where DH and I weren't drinking massive quantities of milk/dairy products.

I have a thread that can help making choices between foods a bit easier - there are NO forbidden foods for pink, all foods are allowed, but some make it a bit easier than others do. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...ood-guide.html

Cold rice milk is ok if you get a name brand. I would avoid the cheaper ones and def. drink it cold instead of at room temp!
