What does coconut water taste like?

Not trying to sway but could do with upping my potassium intake as it's pretty low and I don't eat many of the potassium rich foods other than nuts and occasionally spices. So is coconut water nice for those using it? Xx

I think it tastes like vomit/sweat water. I hate it. Sorry to be a pooper! Just being honest. If I were you I would get the flavored kind, the pineapple one is decent. I mostly used mine to mix with smoothies and don't drink it straight.

There is a difference between coconut MILK and coconut water.

Coconut milk is like a sweetened thick milk, coconut water is the juice in a coconut and depending on the brand it's either horrible (like liquid sweat) or ok tasting - not delicious, but refreshing, and the more you drink it you get used to it...I do like it but it's not a treat for me. The only reason I recommend the Taste Nirvana kind is simply because it's good tasting.

are you sure this is coconut water??? It should be clear and only mildly sweet. I hope we're not getting confused with different products in different countries.

I hate coconut water too but I drink it every day from AF to ovulation. The ONLY way I can tolerate it is to mix it with a can of pineapple juice. I still loathe the taste but I love pineapple juice so I can deal with it for a couple weeks each cycle.
I have been swaying blue since Nov 2012...can you imagine the amount of coconut water I have drank??? Ugh!
