Atomic/anyone can I pick your brain please?

I have been loosely on LE during Oct/Nov, I lost 7lbs. I then pigged out in Dec and gained 7lbs.
From Jan I have been strict LE and full Vegetarian, I have also exercised. I lost 13lbs.

We had an attempt in Feb and March and didn't get preg. I was so convinced Id get preg in March I again pigged out and gained 5lbs. I am CD 3 today and back on LE. I usually OV on CD14.

I have a short LP and my blood results were 18.6nmol/L which my doc said is low and I 'possibly' ovulated. I have been referred and go in a few weeks.

We decided not to ttc this month as I expect they will re take my blood tests again on CD21al and didnt want anything eg vitex/saw palmetto masking my real symptoms and changing my cycle so I will not be taking any supplements.

I am now wondering if this is a good idea though? I am nervous I am not ovulating properly and nervous about missing out on opportunities to get preg, but on the otherhand there is my weight gain (although I am sure I can get it off before attempt) and thenot taking suppliments!!

    Any thoughts?? x

Gosh hard one dreamingofawin! I personally would say listen to your gut....if you would be kicking yourself if you heard boy at ultrasound and wondering what if???? Then skip the month. I feel that every month I could probably do better but I'm 35 and just really want a baby I might be waiting forever if I stayed super strict hope that helps xx

I personally dont think that skipping the supplements will harm anything, but it depends on how much stock you put into it. If you can easily lose the weight again, which I am sure you can if back on the diet, would that give you a little more confidence?

Also being 35 and I feel like this has been going on forever now too, I would probably just BD whenever I felt like it rather than looking for OPKs, then if you get PG, great, if not you can go back to normal the following month. Up to you though and how you feel about the different things. I am sure atomic will have some sound scientific advice regarding the weight changes and stopping the supps.

I would have you try, the low levels may indicate you're more pink friendly...no guarantee of course but that is my belief.

I would not have you do the herbs any more tho.

Add in one serving full fat dairy per day and also four eggs a week. Possibly also one serving salmon. Per week.
