I feel so self conscious lately. I have never been this heavy in my life and am not even far on enough to blame pregnancy! Add to that my skin which is awful esp my chest, I haven't been this spotty since I was about 16. I'm even avoiding my best friend because she is skinny and I don't need to feel even bigger right now! I think DH is getting annoyed at my complaining about my weight but I can't help it.

I know it's hard but get the tight maternity clothes out and go with the pg look!! Bloating early on is common. Milk it and try to relax about it. You are only going to be gaining in the coming months! You and me both!! Try and get some skin care to help with the spots .... Those pesky pregnancy Hormones at work!! Hugs xx

Oh dear, I hear you! I feel massive too. I was already on the bigger side when I fell pregnant and now at 32 weeks I feel awkward, ugly, puffy, the only good thing about it is to feel my daughter kick and move around, then I think it's all worth it. I also complain all the time that I am fat and ugly and DH says I'm still the sexiest beast he's even seen which always shocks me . I know he's being kind as I don't look too good and our sex life is close to none at the moment with my low self esteem. I know it feels like forever but it's only 40 weeks, they will go so fast and after that, breastfeeding will help you get back in shape and then you can exercise and do something about it, try to be patient and just look around, most pregnant women are so NOT looking their best either. Hope you feel better x

Thank you girls. The problem is I haven't told anyone I'm pregnant yet. Trying to pretend I'm on a diet cos I've been overindulging lately lol I'm so emotional too but stressy/ bad tempered as well !!!!

I am SO there with you! I look so huge that when we told our friends last week most people asked if I already knew the gender bc I guess I look that far along! I definitely feel very bloated, though, and hoping it will ease up a bit soon bc like you said I know I can't blame the weight on baby! It doesn't help that I'm hungry all the time to keep from indulging! I'm glad we can moan here together lol

I'm so sorry I hate that families are the hardest on us who want more than the average # of kids! Too bad for her if she can't be happy for another precious grandchild! xx
