    how do I up my calories without upping everything else?

    I am having a hard time getting enough calories in a day. I think I hover around 1100. How do I get more without getting too much of everything else?

    A small glass or two of white wine with dinner is good for empty calories. Or maybe something sweet like some sweet simple carbs (marshmallows, Skittles, etc.)

    Alcohol seems to sway pink and is great for "empty" calories. If you don't drink, add sugary soda, coconut water (if you want to be on the healthier side), gummy bears, etc.

    I am having the same issue...I drink wine so does it matter white or red (I prefer sweet red wine)
    Mom to three princes (9) (8) (20 months)...hoping for a to complete our beautiful family. Come on and make yourself at home!!

    I believe white is better for swaying - I much prefer red myself but there are more nutrients in red than in white.

    Beer works too. I drank a ton of it for my sway.

    Non-chocolate candies are great for empty calories, soda, or really anything sweet. How is your fat? If you're a bit low on that, you can add some butter to something else you're eating, or mayo to a sandwich, or cream to your coffee.

    I also was having this problem. I am going on 3 weeks now of LE and it has gotten a little easier though. Once you find a couple of go to meals it seems to help.

    Seems like it is a pretty common issue. Maybe it is because we hear the word diet and think we need to cut way back.
