Angle of the dangle and angle of the wand

I've found somewhere that the nub angle can actually look different depending on how the tech presses and changes the angle of the wand.
Is this the ultimate nonsense or it might be some truth in it?
Or it is true only for super unexperienced technicians?

All of the above I think. I definitely looks different depending on the angles, baby position etc and ultrasound is very operator dependant. The techs have lots of settings they can adjust as well as there being different machine types and quality, as well as different size bellies. We also have to remember that most of the images we use for guessing are just given to parents as pictures of the baby and just happen to include the nub and are not the best nub images that the tech could possibly get. That said there is something to it and we guess right more than wrong. It's not by any means definitive though.
    Very blessed with
