I was taking my Metamucil and happened to look at it and I noticed one of the ingredients is aspartame. I had no clue it was even in there! So I guess I can drop the diet soda since I am taking the fiber at least 3 times a day?

It's up to you, the amount in the Metamucil is really pretty small. I do err on the side of limiting it but that is mainly because people on some sites drink a level of diet beverages that is frankly insane. Way different than a bit of metamucil and diet soda (like they are eating spoonfuls of it and drinking 2 liters of diet drinks a day)
