    Anovulatory Cycle?

I am on my third charting month since my period came back after weaning DS2. I have also been in Spironolactone for two months.
I did LE/exercise for two weeks then went vegetarian/couch potato (which to stay sane and lose muscle I had to do). This all happened early last cycle (6-7 weeks ago). I have been skipping breakfast for nearly two months as well, and taking in more calcium. I stopped my vitamins and supplements at least 6 weeks ago as well.

I started with Baby Aspirin, peppermint tea this cycle. I have been getting enough calories to O (I'm not starving myself). Atomic suggested that I drop the tea, so I did so right away.

Each prior month, I O'd CD19-21 like clockwork. I was getting really comfortable with charting, temping, etc.
Well, this month threw a wrench into things. I am on CD22 now and don't think I have O'd. OPKs don't work well for me (neither do HPTs, I guess I have stubborn urine), but I usually get a "faint" positive, then it's confirmed with my BBT. My mucus also went away this month, so I thought it was just my sway working.

No slightly + OPKs this month, no pattern in my temps. Is there a reason why I just wouldn't ovulate out of the blue? Could it be the pep tea in addition to the Spiro?

The other night, hubby and I had a couple drinks (I had cranberry vodkas, LOL) and DTD. Based on the last two months of data, it would be the day before O so I was kinda excited.

We really, really want to start TTC next month (well, two days ago...oops ), so I want to get my cycle back! Any advice/tips/etc?

Here's a link to my chart:

PS - as a sidenote, I thought I was on an anovulatory cycle the month DS2 was conceived. I was orally temping back then, so I never got good charts. I temp vaginally now.

Is this your third month after weaning or your third month charting. Your cycle can be wacky for several months after it's return. It could be the tea, how long ago did you drop it? I can't seem to get your chart up...anovulatory cycles are not that uncommon however, and really you are only one day behind, maybe you should give it a couple of days. You're taking FA, right?

    Thanks for the quick reply!!!
I am pretty sure that I have ovulated on CD20 both months (yes, this is only my 3rd PP cycle after weaning), but FF said 19 and 21. I had the queues (cramps, CM, etc) that makes me think it was 20.
Prior to O, I had EWCM for several days and my temps weren't so spastic, that's why I think I'm totally skipping this month.
My cervix is also "stuck" at middle-position and hasn't gone all the way up (ha, this is so TMI! I love it!)
I don't really care that I have a no go this month since we weren't planning to TTC until August, but I want to be sure I'm not doing something to really curb my ovulation.
I just stopped the pep tea the other day after reading AS's comment. And, yes, I have been taking FA for a couple of months now

If I truly do not O this month should we do every four days next month, or should I just be patient and see if O comes back at its normal time?

Well I still don't think you're out this month. In the meantime, yes I think every 4 days is a good bet until AF. I finally got your chart to come up...that is a WACKY dip at day 12, is there any chance you O'd that early?

You can can get O pains before, during and after O. True O coinciding with cramping is only determined by women 30% of the time, no better than random! And try to refrain from poking around in there to check CP, you can introduce all sorts of nasty bacteria and get an infection. I know it's hard

I know!! That dip was crazy! I took my temp a few times that morning, and even checked to make sure that the battery was good. I seriously scratched my head over it. I usually have a small dip around CD12, but nothing like that!
The body is weird. Why can't it just tell us, "yo. I'm ovulating. If you want a girl, DTD now. If you want a boy, try in 12 hours."
I have read that Spironolactone can mess with cycles, so who knows?? I just pray for a healthy PINK bundle in the near future

YOu cannot have a delayed ovulation by one day and seriously start worrying about an anovulatory cycle. It doesn't work that way. anov. cycles take months and months to happen and it's not even out of the range of normal yet.

I can't get your chart to work BUT I agree fully with Anchor's analysis. I would not be surprised if you already DID ovulate. Spiro can lower testosterone, and this may make your ovulation occur at a more "normal" time of the month.

timing does not sway so there would never be a time where your body would say that LOL.
