Thoughts on LR??

I will be starting TTC in September. I wasn't thinking about Licorice Root because I didn't think DH would take it. But he just said, sure why not. So I am wondering what everyone else is doing?? Are your DH having any reactions to it? If so what?

My DH has been taking it for 4 cycles now (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off) and has had no reaction that I can see. He takes two 450mg capsules a day.

But, my best friend's DH took it for a few cycles of their sway and he had trouble performing and getting an erection, even after decreasing from 3 to 1 capsule a day. So they ditched it completely. So it think you won't know if it has any effect till you try it.

I'm sticking with it for my DH and he's also taking olive leaf extract capsules daily and has been for 6 months now.

Thank you for your response. I guess I am worried about my DH having the reaction your friends did. I think he would be quite mad if that happened:-/

DH took it for 2 cycles also (2 weeks on/off) and he had no negative reactions. He took 3x 450 mg. (sometimes he forgot it)

My dh took it for 4 cycles. 2wk on and 2 off. He constantly comppained of upset stomach Nf being gassy..lol..sorry tmi

Maybe start with one capsule a day and see what happens?

usually it's given (by actual doctors in some countries) to HELP stomach stuff. Everyone does react differently so start small and work up
