Hello, I am new to this site & wanted to introduce myself. I already have one ds & my dh and I plan to try for a girl in December.
I've been lurking for some time & already have our plan in order.
*aspirin
*ole (for dh)
*replens
*FR w/ 2-3 day cutoff, shallow release, no o
*Increase calcium, decrease sodium
*cardio
*low pH prior to bd
*vitex
I'm not sure how keen I am to go on a strict diet, though. I am currently still breastfeeding my son & I have a low BMI. What can I do (in terms of diet) to increase our girly chances? Or would these things be enough?
Anything else I'm forgetting & could add?
TIA, I look forward to chatting w/ all of you! Good luck to us all!!

Your plan looks good (pH is not an issue here, but if you insist on keeping it low you can do it), and also you are BFing which is thought to sway pink.
You don't have to cut down on sodium.
I know that diet is a very important factor for us and the I'm sure a personalized plan could help you combine LE diet with breastfeeding.
Best of luck!!

I'd drop the calcium and not worry about sodium, also drop replens and not worry about pH! Instead, start doing the LE diet ASAP. I am completely convinced that diet is the #1 swaying factor. My BMI fluctuates between 14-18, and I've been doing the diet since Dec 2013 (with a break over the summer), I don't lose much weight on it and only very gradually. Obviously as you're BFing you will need more cals, but BFing sways too so that should balance out. I'd focus on reducing protein a bit and reducing fat even more. Eat less saturated fat (from red meat, dairy, coconut oil), omega 3s (fish oil, fatty fish) and less monounsaturated fat (olive oil), instead eat pink friendly polyunsaturated fats (canola, soy, safflower, sunflower). I'd strongly recommend you go vegetarian or at least cut out red meat.
Also, exercise (60+ minutes of cardio 5-7 days a week) sways pink and is definitely worth adding to your sway.
Welcome and good luck, I will be TTC in Dec too.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

We don't always do things the same as "the other guys" because we base our recommendations on the newest science with the best support. HEre's a brief bit about the origins of this site and how we're different. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...sh-anyway.html
If you're still breastfeeding, you can't take aspirin. That is a no-no when nursing.
The nice thing about our LE Diet is that it is not as strict as the other sway diets are. I would go vegetarian and skip breakfast, but you don't need to go all out when breastfeeding - if you are exercising, even more so. I would eat a good amount of cals, but get protein and fat from vegetarian sources, and more of your overall calories from carbs. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/tryi...l-version.html!!! Dh will be taking the aspirin, not me. Sorry, forgot to put that.
Yeah, I think a vegetarian diet will be the easiest for me. I was a pescetarian when I conceived my son but ate a lot of fatty fish & no milk.
Thank you for the link. This site has so much information. It's kind of overwhelming at first. Haha
