So, about 2.5 weeks after my chemical pregnancy, I got a positive OPK today. I am kind of freaking out and can't decide whether to go for it. To make matters worse, I recently realized that I have accidentally been taking some probiotics because they are in the prenatal vitamin I've been taking (I have strict orders from OB to take full prenatal instead of just folic due to possible nutritional deficiencies and blood work issues in my last pregnancy - although baby was perfect)!
Aside from that, my diet has been fairly good and DH has been taking OLE (but only for a week or two - didn't know about it!). I can't decide whether to go for it and try to catch this first egg after early m/c or hold off and add in more supplements and have DH on OLE a bit longer. I've even thought about seeing if my OB would consider clomid or femara, as I have a history of long cycles, short luteal phase, and early m/c. However, I do definitely ovulate on my own.
What would you do?? So nervous!!

This is one of those questions I simply do not have the answer to. Can you flip a coin?

I would just go for it and see what happens, but for no other reason than that is the type of person I am!
good luck with whatever you decide to do!

I know, there really is no answer! Flipping a coin might be my best bet at this point!
Really just kind of venting my anxiety.

How many boys do you have? How long total have you been on the diet? Are you doing exercise?
I would question taking a full dose prenatal daily despite your history...maybe only take it from O to AF? Or take it twice a week?
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

I have two boys. On vegetarian diet for about 10 weeks, although I did have a couple cheats after my BFP last cycle. I have to be careful about diet because
I am very thin and will stop ovulating if I lose too much weight. I am doing "couch potato" with no exercise for the same reason (plus I find it difficult to find time and fear I would end up with moderate exercise). That's a good point about the prenatal, and is something to consider. Ugh, only a couple hours to decide. Thanks for letting me vent and agonize.

I am super thin naturally too but I didn't lose much on the LE and you can easily stop weight loss by adding empty sugar cals from soda/candy (with meals of course). Also, while many, maybe even most women lose O if they get too thin, atcmy lowest BMI in the 14s I still Oed regularly. So not every thin person loses O.
I think with 2 boys Id want the full 12w on the diet, especially considering the eating after your BFP. I'd also want at least a full 2 weeks off the prenatals or taking them less frequently.

If you do want to reduce the prenatal, please do it 2-3 days per week instead of just part of the month. You shouldn't go off of and onto vitamins like that. better to take them just a couple-three days a week all month instead.
