    progesterone supps vs prometrium

Does anyone know the differences in these supositories? Aside from the size, of course?

The progesterone makes my V itch like I have the worst YI in the world, the prescription for the prometrium is $260/ month. I had progesterone left over from a previous mc a couple months back and wondered how they stack up. Anyone know?

    Thanks

I don't know, but I do know PIO (progesterone in oil) injections are far superior to any other sort of P supplementation. Is that an option?

No, they will only give that if you get a nurse to inject every 4 days so they are very disagreeable :/ I would rather the pain of the injection (they are apparently bad) than suffering the chronic YI symptoms.
