I know continuous is key! However, I sometimes get interrupted for a few minutes (usually 1-3 mins) while I'm doing my 60 minutes. Sometimes I go to the gym daycare to make sure my youngest son isn't crying. Or at the gym, I will find a channel on the tv I like while on the tread meal. Or sometimes I need to go to the bathroom. Even while pushing my kids in the jogging stroller, sometimes i need to help one of them and stop walking for a minute. Is this bad? I'm trying not to be uptight about the exercising!![]()

The worst is when my youngest freaks out at the gym daycare and they have to come get me after 20 minutes! Then I have to go home and find a way to start my 60 minutes all over. LOL.

He is 18 months. I considered doing couch potato. But I just got a new double jogging stroller and we tend to do a lot in the summer months. I live within walking distance to the park, library, and nature center. They are like 15-20 minutes away. Plus it seems like the cardio pink swayers have a higher success rate?

Well tbh I had the same problem - so I start off early trying to walk or walk/jog with the double jogger; and if I can't get the adequate amount I made hubby look after them after. It's the only time I get to myself and find myself doing better and better alone. I jogged 9k yesterday.

Yes! One thing that worked for me was going around lunch time and packing a lunch for my kids. They spend like 15-20 minutes eating then my youngest usually falls asleep and I let my oldest (3.5) read books and play with toys. Then I end my hour by going to the park and let my youngest one finish his nap there while my oldest one plays and then we walk home. I also sometimes go to the gym when my husband gets home and I will just put on a show while I walk and jog on the tread mil.
Have you every tried to just stay at home and jog and walk in place while your kids play to get your 60 minutes in?

And that ^ is exactly how I started out getting my Cardio. Jumping jacks, jogging in place, dancing etc in my house or back yard. It's still my go to when it's raining since I don't have any machines

Good to know! I don't have any machines either. I would go outside and do it in my backyard but I'm afraid the neighbors would think I was crazy. LOL.
